  • "just use the fine tuner, check it out" then he tunes the low "D"a little sharp. If you hire someone to demo a piece of gear, make sure his ear works.

  • But how do I bleed my brakes!?

  • Comment removed

  • hey herc nice muscles!

  • excellent Castro!! now you can play and sound like a bunch of bees in a can

  • A piezo version would be cool. :D

  • lol why is the neck upside down?

  • would this work on a axl badwater sro.

  • So, you're not playing your Carvin V220C anymore? After all the hard work I went through to make that for you?? J/K

Call me at the Hollywood store some time.

    -Moshe

  • ok so just to make this clear, this will fit in a modern 2-point tremolo strat right?

  • @kdoverock yea, he said it would fit in virtually any strat with a tremolo, and he did say somethin about 2-bolt trems.

  • You almost convince me till I saw that horrendous locking shit!!!!

  • whats a two point and six screw?

  • 6 screw vintage strat tremolo or current Amer. standard 2-post tremolo.

  • why don't i just get a floyd? god... Non recessed of course.

  • @ruffles272 because the floyd has problems like taking away sustain and shortening string life. super vee adds sustain doesnt kill your strings and its way easier to tune/string it.

  • there is no need for that ... i just got a SQUIER CLASSIC VIBE 50´S, and it stays in tune always ... i use the wammy bar harder than this demonstration. Each instruments has it´s own secret. It took me about 7 hours to set my tremolo floating so i could use it as hard as i wanted and the guitar would stay in tune. My guitar it kept the vintage style and i am very happy with it. Im going to change is the nut only. MY MESSAGE IS .. GET TO KNOW UR GUITAR AND DON´T WASTE UR MONEY !!!!!!!!!

  • hey could this trem be installed on a jaguar with an like strat trem ???

  • @Mons8a Well if its just a standard strat tremolo with cavity at the back you should will have no problem

  • thx dude

  • @Mons8a only if it has 6 screws and if it is vintage

  • i met this guy today at Guitar Player Live in livermore, ca. he was handing out his album to people. he's so cool.

  • he said that it will drop into any strat with six screw or two bolt configuration, my strat has the two point pivot trem, so If I were to get the SuperVee, would I have to fill those big holes, then drill a few small ones for the screws it mounts with?

  • they make adapters for the 2-point system... just order a 2-point replacement

  • does it operate up?

    can you flutter

  • I was wondering this too until I watched 1:43 and I said out loud "Holy shit yeah it can fucking flutter"

  • Man, i had a zr trem on my ibane s520ex (well..till it broke)

    and this thing rocks!

    btw

  • so i think i'm gonna buy this. but lets just say i break or lose the whammy bar. do they offer replacements, or maybe can i buy one at my local guitar store?

  • Herc, I thought you're a master with SRAM products, now it seems you're agile with guitar. Chapeau bas, Mister :)

  • anyone know how much these cost?

  • $250 for a whole set. $99 for the nut

  • I don't know much about tremelo systems, but how do you tune the guitar with that installed? Can you still tune all the strings low (half-step, whole step, etc.)?

  • is it a tone sucker?

  • its not cutting any more wood so it keeps it more or less the same

  • that was probably the best thing i bought all month

  • is it just me or did anyone else notice that his sunburst humbucking strat had a reversed or hendix style headstock

  • Hendrix restrung a righty strat and played it left-handed which explains the reversed headstock.

  • Another "innovative" tremolo system that forgets about LEFTY players....

  • Don't be a baby.

  • lmao what an ass, you're right though (no pun intended) btw, you need to play somethin other than than the pinch harmonics an squealies and shit, like AlexVDL2 said, it gets annoying after a while, and you cant really tell if it stayed in tune

  • anyone know why my 3rd string goes up a half step when i use the bar with my super vee? the other 5 stay in tune great but the g string goes out of tune everytime i dive the bar...:(

  • happens alot? what guage do you use?

  • yeah it happens frequently. i use 9's.

  • I think the g string on any guitar is problematic. I have seen them go out of tune on everything.

  • yeah now it's fine. was problematic first few days, must have been like a defective string or something. don't let this discourage anyone from buying this unit it's worth it's weight in gold after i got the tweaks out. :)

  • you might have just needed to stretch it

  • I did. The first 2 or 3 tunings were frustrating even after stretching them all out. After that it has been staying in tune very well after alot of abuse. It has been 3 weeks or so now of beating the hell out of my strat Steve Vai style and the unit has performed well. Definatly worth the $250, anyway.

  • EVH said after dive bombing he would grab the G string and yank because it would have a tenency to go sharp.

  • the 3rd strings of certan brands tend to not keep themselves in tune. It happened to me each time i used daddarios, dunlops or elixirs. what i found really wierd was it happened in both my strats tremelo and my explorers tune-o-matic. but the tune-o-matic would keep in tune after a few times

  • if you mean the G string. i thought i was the only one that had that prolme. any brand you like now. I use 10s in dr or xr

  • well, i use GHS boomers for all my guitars, usually 10-52 or 11-56 gauge. for me, they dont have any problem. also, if youown one of these super v bridges i cant help you because none of my guitars have them. but the GHS trings dont make the 3rd string go sharp or flat at all

  • I have the same problem,

    I use 11's.

    another thing,

    in the nut.

    the a or 5th string

    is having a buzz,

anyone explain how i fix it?

  • adjust the bridge saddle

  • Im from Spain, how can i buy one of these tremolos??thanks

  • im from swedn and can i buy it som ware

  • please tell me youre amp/ effects set up

  • Whats the retail on one of those. Can it fit on a Jackson V

  • holy shit

  • i dont understand how you set it to float

  • Contact them directly. Mine floats as well as many others I have seen.

  • @SerialIceCreamEater Basically all you do is loosen the springs in the back so that the strings and springs pull it to a preferred mid. point :)

  • Send them an email and ask. Go to Google and type in Super-Vee Tremolo.

It will come up as the first web site in the list.

  • Does anyone know if these things come left handed?

  • they don't, I looked them up myself. they always forget about the lefties.

  • dang

    thanks for replying anyways

  • If you search for Super-Vee Tremolo at Google, it will be the one of the first links that pops up. Go there and it should answer all your questions, if not you can contact them and talk to a rep.

  • are they easy to install by urself or would u have to pay a profesional? also how much does it cost to buy one?

  • Thats my step dads invention! :D He kept up my mom all night when he was figuring it out xD. Hes a guitar pro

  • Where can I purchase this for my fender and how much?

  • Go to Google and type in Super-Vee Tremolo.

It will come up as the first web site in the list.

I have two, and love 'em.

  • Awsome Thanks! I was breaking my head with other search engines. It seems I can't do bends on my fender it feels like there is just too much tension and I really have to bend hard to get the pitch so by mistake I ran into this video and good thing cause everyone needs to own a Super-Vee. This is gonna be huge! I've tried changing gauges, adjusting the bridge/springs, and nothing seems to be working so hopefully this does the trick.

  • You will love it...very solid unit.

  • Very cool!
