Actually this game was the sequel to the movie. It shows you exactly what happened after the first movie. I still have the gamepro magazine that talked about this game and the plans for it. Plus I believe there is mention of it on wikipedia. I grew up watching this movie and when I found out there was to be a game of it, I had to know everything lol.

This boss battle pissed me off. Not because it was too easy, but because no matter what, the game always crashed on me halfway through this battle. Always. No matter how many times I reinstalled it or on which computer. So I was never able to finish the game. :'(

Interesting game, i've played it and i've come to the conclusion that its not the thing you are fighting, its monsters from half life,I mean Blake gets stabed, cut ,bled on even vomited on inumerable times by the "thing" through the game and hes still 100% human no problemo.The first mission of the game is the only one that has even an inch of the actual movie's feel to it,the rest is just killl kill bla bla,don't worry about getting infected, medic kits are actualy miracle antidotes .BULLSHIT!!

@NlmDth Duhh, it would be retarded if you could get infected. It's a 70% chance for most people, I mean seriously, why would you want that? You would have to restart 4/5 times you met an enemy due to infection, think it through. Unrealistic as it may be, it's better if you can't be infected yourself.

FYI, half life ain't that original, and if you don't like this game don't play it. Medikits are miracle cures on EVERY game, when in real life they would barely help at all with serious injuries.

So, what I am sure this game is implying is Macready is infected and "saved" you to facilitate an easy exit without raising too much suspicion from your character.

@FAproduction1 There are two ways to deal with it. Run around it until you learn its attack pattern, and stop to attack it only when it lets its guard down. Second, you can try and go for its blind spot, straight under it, and attack it from there.
