I'm thankful for this guy serving our country, I plan on joining the navy's masters at arms (military police) and my father said that they won't accept me. I told him there are suck things as atheists in foxholes he threatened to punch my teeth out because "I attacked him", this video proved his ass that I'm right and now we can go on. this guy deserves more then medals

Puhlease. There are huge problems *directly* caused by Islamism in Afghanistan. Obviously these would necessarily go away if the superstition went.
@Mulinaster The only fairy tale aspect of that is that it isn't realistic to expect a largely uneducated and tribal population to be able to put a functional society together, so we can't guarantee that a secular society would be better. However, it would be a society where little girls wouldn't get murdered for getting an education.

I'll give you a hint, they're all populated by a heavily religious community. Look at more secular run countries and these crime rates drop substantially. While correlation doesn't always = causation the fact that the correlation is there makes the belief justified until proven otherwise.
Islam is just a vehicle for an already agressive people of the mid-east; I would sooner point my finger at natural selection, which chooses who can survive the mid east social structure, than religion.

What a both uplifting yet heartbreaking story. It gives hope for the future of Man that a kid like Fayaz(probably misspelled) could have an open mind about morality without god in such a violently dogmatic part of the world but very sad that such a promising youth could die in such a horrific manner. Also thanks for debunking the old myth of "there are no atheists in fox holes". It's time we show the rest of the country that atheists are indeed patriotic. Peace.
