I own a schipperke myself. and he is the greatest dog. His name is Revo and he is two years old. I've never heard of this breed before until i saw him at the pet store. He's smart, sweet, loves to relax with me when its time to go to bed. but he can be a little handful sometimes. but thats why i love him

Skips are so awesome. I have had two. Just lost my first one last year after 15 1/2 years she was so smart,lovable and sweet. I have a new one now had her since she was 3 months old she is now 1 1/2 and she is so awesome. She rolls over, fetches, walks with me stops when I stop, sits, sings, slaps me five. I think the skips are one of the best dogs. So smart, lovable and loyal. Thanks for posting your vid.

yes you would have to be an idiot to not train your dog i trained mine to do all kinds of things and it took none of his personality if you ask me it added to it

We had a trainer for him but we just didnt keep up the training. But hes a cool dog. The best thing about him is that he loves to do everything with people.

train them "quiet!" and its possible...IF you work with them from very young. We started working our schipperke/chihuahua mix dog (both notorious barkers) and WE have a very sweeeeet, QUIET dog. She ONLY barks when there is something "new" in the house which she doesn't understand. And they need lots of exercise!

Cute dog! I have a schipperke too. I know what you mean about the barking. Mine does the same.

It's worth it though, because they are great watch dogs, but most of all-----they are a lot of fun.

yeah they are very cool. you have to give them lots of exercise though otherwise they will bark.

thats such a cute schipperke!!! i also have 1, hes also 6, and surprisingly, he still chases squirrels, and can jump like a meter in the air... you'd expect him to be like 3, lol anyways... cute vid =)

How old is he? He looks exactly like my Schipperke in the face. Only your little boy looks younger. If he is anything like my little guy, he will be very muscular when he gets older.
