Ive seen many tuts on sybil, but they arent as good because they are done to music. and its also because you are probly more experienced than others whcih make the teaching easier.

I have a problem, the packet on the Middle, Ring, and Pinky finger (the akward grip) extends too far when I get the packet with the middle and thumb of the left hand and I can't recover after, its just stuck, how do I clear the second middle,thumb packet from the middle,ring,pinky packet?

@ghostbuster117 Try just moving the awkwardly gripped packet to the side. It should be completely independent from the rest of the fingers, so you can just tuck it aside as you grab the other packet and then you can set it back into place.

when i go into that weird kind of grip, and start the second rotation, i cant break of the packet that im supposed to break of with my middle and thumb (left hand) that is about at 4:45-4:46 in the video. it always colapses :( been practicing for a week now, still the same.

@SpadeMaster14 I'm really not sure what you're doing wrong. Upon reading your comment, I did Sybil and found nothing difficult about it whatsoever (even from a beginner's stand point). Unless you can be more specific or maybe make a video, I can't really help.

@BiLLaR4sIiI I am well aware of the cut, but I will not teach it because it is not mine to teach. If I can learn it from the tutorial, so can you and anybody else. Just practice it. It took me maybe a week to get it consistent.

Uhh, I'd recommend just learning some fundamentals. Sybil, Charlier and Revolution Cuts, Swing Cut. Then check out some flourishes by either myself or relatively unknown cardists. Not trying to be cocky or anything, but I think my videos teach cardistry the best since they're actually voiced. And then unknown cardists, like ones with only a couple tutorials, tend to have basic tutorials and go by incredly slow. It's good for beginners. Then learn more difficult flourishes. Hope that helps.

It's the only webcam I have and is flat-faced, so I need to move it around for different angles. When I bought it a couple years ago, it was $30.

I don't know exactly what you're doing, but a lot of people can't flare it out enough because they grip the packet with their middle, ring, and pinky curled in. Make sure you're gripping it with the fingers extended and you should get a little bit more flare to it. It doesn't flare much though, even for me.

5 Faces is a top-bottom retention cut, but but is not completely false. Variations can be made to make it false. Experiment.

Best flourish tutorials on YouTube. i hate learning from dvds because they are unclear, there is no verbal explanation. and usually i dont like learning from youtube because they are crap.
