  • Thank you for this. I've been sewing for 30 years, and did not know how to do this hand-stitch!

  • While I was watching this I thought to myself, "Oh so it's like needlepoint." I then realized I am the biggest loser on the face of the Earth.

  • thnx

  • Sweet! Hand-stitching always intimidated me, especially when looking at drawn instructions that looked impossible. I'm bummed that I didn't bring my sewing machine with me to college and want to start on a sewing project. Now I can still do it without paying an arm and a leg to ship it from one end of the US to the other. Thanks random Youtube lady!

  • Very nice. You were very clear. Way better then "Expert" Village. I am certainly getting this!

  • Thank you so much for uploading this video!

  • I appreciate all these videos, but I remember having one experience sewing many years ago. Wouldn't most of these stitches you are teaching allow for someone to pull one side of the string and scrunch up the fabric? If you just put a second knot right before the last stitch and after it at the end prevent this?

  • thank you

  • ..

  • Thanks! so helpful! I think more people hand sew than what is thought.. and that more people would hand sew if there was more sufficient information like this. Can rarely even find a book on it!
