okay, since i re-watched all of the movies...the invisibility cloak was explained in the deathly hallows...but how did harry's dad came in possession to it?, and who sent it to harry since his parents are dead?

@haheso2007 James Potter is a descendant of Ignotus Peverell. Both lived and were buried in Godric's Hollow. Dumbledore borrowed the Invisibility Cloak from James because Dumbledore wanted to check if it was one of the Deathly Hallows. The cloak was in Dumbledore's possession when James and Lily were killed by Voldemort, and was later returned to Harry at Hogwarts.
