@YerLadWhoLived Yes, I do. Do you have no respect for years of learning from the dead, troll? Just because I learned more from other players and integrated my own style into it, that doesn't make it trash. I personally find no interest in people making carbon copies of what's already done. Do honor to this piece, but keep it you... Did you not see the last bit. "Thank you, Jimi"...? Where is my disrespect?
Ya know, when I give Voodoo Child a go, I usually go for the Big, Anthemic, Girthy, most metal Em riff during the opening melody.
You know- the one from Satch/Vai/Malmsteen G3 '03? :)
But I was VERY happy to see that you kind of combined a little bit of Paul Gilbert influence- in that you squeezed some improv'd grace notes into the opening melody instead.
@ShadowLancer128 Wow. Thanks, bro! That means a lot coming from a musical connoisseur such as yourself. It's great to have insight and feedback from someone who knows exactly what they're talking about. Rock on, man!
you know whats great about this song?(skiping that was created by hendrix) is that u made it in ur own style, not many ppl can be proud of tht achieve....cheers mate
