  • Rode out the Eye Wall.

    Riding Hurricanes since 1955!

  • 0:09 when ever i went to galvaston i would always see those houses bbut i moved to el paso a month before the hurricane lol

  • el paso reminds me of 'old el paso' and that reminds me of what my mom said 'old el asshole'! XD

  • haha

  • For the first time in my life, I didnt sleep a whole night. Ike was horrible, it left our side of town with no electricity for 2 weeks and 2 months with no cable or internet!

  • How did you survive. I suppose no xbox either

  • i agree with sweetluvly07!!!!

wasnt really a nice week 4 me!

  • That Hurricane Ike Thing Scared The Fuck Out Of Me I Stayed up for 4 days Worrying O.O

  • Ike did take the "nightmare path". I'm surprised that my house was standing.

  • Hi TenDisks - not sure if anyone answered your question, but on Thursday afternoon people were still working, coming in from Houston, etc...they couldn't close the inbound lanes at that time. I stayed at work until about 2:30 myself and I work in the Med Center in Houston, and drive south 45 and I'm glad I got home when I did. I'm not sure if they ever opened up the southbound lanes to go northbound after that. I know it flooded so quickly before the storm - they may have been shut down friday

  • Im from bridge city and we got hit hard than houston.

  • JohnHo8 and kwes1020, who cares who got hit hardest. Get off your fat ass and go do something instead of having a pissing match on youtube about a hurricane that was in your area.

  • i was`nt in hurricane ike but i was learing about it A LOT in class!!!

  • well Ike was serious...I made it through, it was CRAZY!

    MREs ftw

  • The apartment complex next to me had its roof blown off and that was in northern Houston.

  • I don't understand, people keep asking God to bless America but it looks like all God's got for America are hurricanes and fires, either God is not clear of what a "blessing" is or he's canadian. I wonder which one it is.

  • Hurricanes are what keeps the ocean waters cool during the summer when it gets very hot. They are basically air conditioners. You think that God made Hurricanes to destroy our lands but if you think about it, without them we would burn up during the summer time. Btw I was in the middle of Ike it passed right through my town.

  • Sorry buddy im from parts that where directly affected. All I can tell you is get off the crack and fantasy cloud your living on. You're not Dan Rather or any type of weather man and are full of FAIL. Grow some sense.!!

  • And you are?? Dude Dr. Neil Frank even said himself that Hurricanes keep ocean waters from heating up too bad. I was directly affected by the storm so don't sit there and tell me you suffered worse than I did. It was terrible for all of us. But all we can do is suck it up and rebuild and recover.

  • this came into my area, we had to evacuate to Kileen TX Holiday Inn

  • This music was written by me for the flooding in New Orleans, you must watch:

    youtube com/watch?v=fAw_pSjTeu4

    thanks

  • Okay we just got hit by a major hurricane.

Let's go to Lousiana now! :D....NO.

I really feel sorry for all those people in Galveston, Freeport and Houston area...I mean they got hit bad.

  • LMAO!

i wouldnt go to lousiana eather XD

i live in southern houston we got hit bad

  • man my town didnt even get hit hard at all and school is out for all of this week

  • the next hurricane is called josephine :P

  • wow i cant believe there are people out there in the world that are so ignorant

  • OMG!

    ( currently listening to

    - Bordering the Void -

    by Whitechapelonian )

  • all of the house are like 10 feet from the ground! thats really smart :)

  • What a slam of the hurricane!

  • man shit happenin nothin but a lil wind and rain so far but who knws

  • its not a cat 4...its a cat 2...110 mph winds. i am in newton, but i live in bridge city. my house is going to be under the water. they are thinking the levees are going to breach in port arthur. they sent the men home that pump the water out home because its so dangerous for them to be here. so far, we havent lost any power. newton is 121 feet above sea level. bridge city is no more than 5. (gee..i picked a really good place to live.) so anyone that is reading this, i hope you all are safe.

  • IT'S 1MPH SHY OF A CAT 4 cnn just said that

  • hey ike, GO TAKE A HIKE!

  • "You'll get no sympathy from me"

It would've been smart if you "Prepared yourself!"

    GREAT wEATHER!

    *FE Victory theme plays*

    This game's winner is, Ike!

  • racist bastard

  • mober??? dumass or whatever ..... you are so ingnorat....dum suckar why is some body wontin to always start trouble. you probly couldnt find you way home.

  • Christ, why is it that always someone has to make some utterly stupid racist remark. *rolls eyes*

  • Ike is just a Cat2.

  • no,its cat.4 bigger then katrina and almost as big as texas+ 15 foot surge ba? its predicted to be 20 feet so everyone stay safe if you were dumb enough to stay

  • there is one thing I don't understand... when I see the hurricane evacuations taking place, there is always massive traffic jams on the three lanes of the highways leading out... but three lanes going in are empty... why don't they take two of the lanes going in and let the people drive out on them, too? It seems mad.

  • sometimes they will but the reason why they dont is because you will face the same bottle neck congestion. all highways will be open until you get the the two lane high ways outside of the city - there you get the bottleneck effect again trying to get all six lanes into that smaller one.

  • hm, that makes sense, thanks for your reply

  • Back a few years ago people that evacuated were only moving one mile an hour. They were running out of gas, cars were overheating. It was a nightmare. Most people did not want to do that again. YOu just can not evacuate get 6 million people out of the Galveston and Houston areas through 2-4 lanes of traffic. To the ignorant comments and lack of apathy, I hope you do not have to experience a significant natural disaster liek this.

  • That is exactly what they do along the Carolina coast.

  • This should be interesting.

    It'll hit home for "Bush".

He'll suddenly give a shit about

Hurricane victims when it's his own people.

You know, if you play any of the Bush audio

tapes backwards it says, "give me your souls

for me to feed on my herd of sheep".

When is Satan coming for Bush?

  • "His own people?" What are you talking about? He was born in Connecticut. He bought a ranch down there shortly before the election to look more like Reagan, and he's about to get rid of it again, living in a mansion instead, once this is all over.

  • noooooo....we're not changing the enviroment........not at all. I think I will vote republican, Im sick of polar bears

  • Never gonna learn are they? Build your land up to suit the possible flooding, then build the house with concrete to withstand hurricane winds. If you cannot afford to do this then do not move back when your house is negatively impacted. Federal aid is being borrowed from other countries to pay the debt(LOTS OF IT). That's not the American way at all and it all boils down to stupid choices by both citizens and government. TH[]INK
