@SparkyxDSparky that isnt quite right. Blackbeard's fruit can not absorb attacks that hit his body whether they be a devil's fruti ability or a normal punch and they all do twice the normal damage. He make up for this with the abilty to cancel out a person's devil fruit if he is touching them and he can somehow absorb another person's fruti from their body like he did to whitebeard(not sure if he can do this multiple times or just once) which is why his fruit is considered unique among all other

@antonemo5566 Anything that hits Blackbeard can hurt him severly due to the Yami Yami no Mi's weakness- Logia fruits are mistakenly defined by the ability most have to let objects phase through the wielders body however with the appearance of Kuzan (Aokiji) and Blackbeard (possibly Akainu as well) that theory no longers holds true.

Logia fruits should instead be defined by a Logia user's ability to regenerate their body at will with their Logia element.

@antonemo5566 Even a normal bullet can hurt Blackbeard. He's mentioned that his Devil Fruit is not a normal type, and he can't transform to avoid damage. In fact I think he once implied that because his Devil Fruit pulls everything in, he actually takes more damage from attacks than usual.

So here's what Im wondering does anyone else think Blackbeard could have become one of the yonkou now? I mean Whitebeard died so that means one of the four are gone and I remember seeing them still referred to as the Yonkou which means four emperors so there must be a new fourth.

@londea88 haki = willpower mabey ace's willpower so mabey he was stronger physically but didnt have as much willpower. and about the four emperors perhaps they (the other 3 emperors) dont want blackbeard because he lacks morals and is a shibukai (well where i am, im at the bit where luffy has just entered a ghost island) btw you should put something like "SPOILER ALERT" because not everyone reads the manga lol

@crudstickles There's one problem with that the Yonkou aren't an actual organization yonkou is just a name given to them by the W.G. they don't think of themselves as emperors I mean I know Shanks and Whitebeard don't or didn't in Whitebeards case. Also my belief is Ace probably didn't become a master with haki probably because he didn't have a haki master to train him in mastering it himself.

@crudstickles I'd say Ace probably learned the basics but that's all or maybe he was someone who managed to teach himself about haki I mean only Luffy so far appears to be the only one who was unaware of it even after using hoakushoku haki three times probably cause his anger may have blinded him from noticing it it's possible Ace did it once and realized it was there then began training with haki.
