  • No disrespect! I just bought an eucalyptus didj from an unreliable source and it doesnt play very well, it is now an ornament. but he is a supremely talented musician. My love and respects..

  • How can i buy his instrument?

  • @medicineeman This was Ryca's personal didge and not one we ever had for sale.

  • @medicineeman make one out of pvc, ull spend like 15 bux instead of a cpl bens

  • Top Didging that is; picked up some great sounds from this, thanks you talented man you; sorry I have just had to listen to that again, awsum stuff. As a didge player I fully appreciate the time put into learning to that standard. very well done.

  • great sound!!! i also played the didgeridoo and i love the sounds, it take me to a kind of trance.... circular breathing is learned and i can play diferend styles !! i can play with normal mouth breathing , tongeu breathing, and jawbreathing.....it hard to play but you will make awaysome sounds!!.......greets from patrick out of the netherlands

  • I seen alot of these video on youtube but this guy is one of my favs....

  • Does anyone know any good sources where I could learn some of the more advanced rhythms that don't involve tonguing (i.e. cheek/jaw/pallet, etc. wobble)?

  • @amsterdamob try this: wwwDOTforumDOTididjDOTcomDOTau/

you will get good answers there.

  • pure bliss

  • love it

  • Muy bueno el ritmo,me encanta !!!!!!!!!!!

  • I really enjoyed this vid! jus bought my own didge a couple of days ago and I hope to play as well as this guy! jus hard part is circular breathing which is bloody difficult!

  • 1:15 !! i dont know yet how he gets that "whobble bass" in the background done, but i will find out ;D

  • i think its a mix of pulse breathing, word articulation "weeka-wooka" and a slight draw drop. It`ll keep you busy for sure!

  • @inseldon1 I've posted a vid where I try to play the base of the rythm slowly, check the vid commentary

  • @Vince77F thank you

  • nice didge man nice sound

  • bravo bravo bravo bravo bravo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • excellent !

especially the rhythm starting at 1:15

  • Ive probably listened to this video more than any other. The solid groove he sets just a few minutes in really shows how instrumental the didgeridoo can really be. Thank you for sharing this vid. I wish you the best of fortune!

  • @didgemonster Have you been able to crack this rhythm???

  • Love the Didgeridoo! I have wnated to learn for years but wasnt sure if i was allowed because im a white female. It's my favourite instrument. If im down the street and i see it played it puts me in a trance and i have to listen! It's almost like the sound of the spirit.

  • by all means, play. learn. share.

if your not part of the tribe, then its rules dont really apply to you.

no offence to them, but for use as an instrument, no one should ever be denied to express themselves, via what ever art medium they choose.

  • Yes, I believe the prohibition against females playing only applies in a few tribes and is not generally held among the native people. When first encountered it was probably just generalized as common practice. Probably just a device to keep the women in the kitchen... : )

    Didge On !!!

  • I've seen video of at least 2 world class FEMALE didge players on the tube- amazing resource- look for them! Be inspired, play didgeridoo!

  • the didj was originally male only instrument

  • @blackonyx2727 ...as long you're not in any tribe, nor playing in any ceremony, all i've heard is "go girls !!!!"

  • @blackonyx2727 Get you a Didge and PLAY YOUR HEART OUT!!!!!

  • @blackonyx2727 lol

why would you not be allowed to do something because you're a white female?

    its a free country.

  • i love the rhythm. its a soul thing

  • mina deadly wahd!!!

  • how do you do 2:15 rythm?

  • BEAUTIFUL!!! LETS HAVE SOME MORE!!
