Just from this vid and others on YouTube, Rick Jeanneret seems to be the perfect mix of wordsmith and wildly passionate homer. Other PBP announcers in the NHL and other sports often seem to be one or the other.

On another note, does anyone else think Jeanneret would die of a sudden excitement-induced heart attack if the Sabres actually hoisted the Cup? I could think of worse ways to go.
