My point is that is is called UK FUNKY. The rule for hosue music is that it follows a 4x4 beat, that is what defines house music and that is what a house track is. UK Funky is does not follow a 4x4 beat, thats why it is Uk FUNKY, and not UK Funky house. It simple isnt house music and shouldnt be referenced as it

Well if you could read properly you'd see that it says UK FUNKY HOUSE, so whats your point exactly? i've noticed no1 wants to embrace this new branch of funky house, when the youth have just modernised an existing part of this genre

ARRRRRRHHHHHH this is getting frustrating. Im a DJ, I have my own radio show and also have headlined the same club as Dave Pearce and Judge Jules.
I play funky/electro house. I love funky house. It is a combination of the 4x4 beat from house music fused with 70's funk.
The above IS NOT funky house, it never has been and never will be. It is UK Funky, which Im not keen on, appriciate other ppls tastes, not my cuppa tea. Just gets to me when the two are mixed up.

@jlrinthemix i agree - funky house should have elements of funk (i.e. flute, sax, percussion etc) i always say the same thing when people say 'funky house' - David Guetta or someone like that!!! incredible! all about grant nelson, phil asher, restless soul, audio whores (older stuff).
