I bought the Acer Aspire Revo 3610 with 4 GB of ram 2 weeks ago, and was lucky to return it back quickly as I managed.

It is a SLOWLY PC ! ! ! really week one. I couldn't enjoy the simplest tasks, such as web surfing or opening a video. It had difficulties leaf through a PDF file.

Be aware ! This PC may be cheap, but also has cheap capabilities ! ! !

get one from best buy for 200, then get a 32 gb solid state hard drive, upgrade to 3gb of ram, set bios video memory to 512mb, GET A BROADCOM CRYSTAL HD FROM EBAY 22 bucks, and finally get flash 10.1.3 beta, and overclock to 1.8 ghz (or whatever if you get the dual core.)

And you will be fucking shocked when you see this baby run. Just stunning.

@Blitzkrieg1981 hey buy an ide harddrive enclosure for $20 dollars, and then if you have a spare ide cd drive you can turn it into a portable disc drive, and then when your done you can connect your hard drive to it and have a portable hdd, too. thats what i do with my hdd enclosure anyway.

I/O = Input Output. So there is an Optical Audio Out on the motherboard itself. Hence an SPDIF output on the back of the pc. U can still split screens just buy a hdmi splitter or a hdmi extension box. This will allow you to have 1 hdmi cable coming out from the hdmi port on the pc and be then seperated into 2 additional hdmi outputs by using a hdmi splitter box.

You can build one in the US now, my company is actually building these now with the 330, a RAID array and blue ray player. Current draw is around 40 watts at full load and 18-20 at idle.

I'm guessing, but I'd say it'll be pretty close. You've got a more power hungry CPU and chipset, but you're also not powering stuff like the screen... Maybe a little higher.

Atom 330 in Canada. You can see in task manager it shows 4 threads. That's two cores and two hyperthreading virtual cores.

I think the spec is different in certain parts of the world. In Asia I believe it comes with a remote, but here it comes with a wireless keyboard and mouse.

I was just saying that at least in Canada it definitely comes with a 330 CPU. Maybe somewhere else it is a 230, but I don't know.

EVE:Online is a VERY demanding game. Don't expect to be running it at max details.

I'd probably "handle" it in the sense that the game would run.

The experience would leave much to be desired though.

Get a real gaming card if you want to play graphically demanding games like EVE:Online.
