I agree GT or F1 is funner to watch, if you know what actually goes on during a race, you can appreciate NASCAR as well. Let me ask you this, other than track layouts, what's really so different between NASCAR, F1, GT, etc? They all have high performance engines, all have regulations/rules, and most importantly all have drivers. No skill? lol, You sound ignorant. I find racing at top speed with exact powered cars, fighting and rubbing for the same line/draft, 43 cars, in some tracks tandom racing, pit strategy...etc. Point is its a different kind of racing, these guys are going so close to the edge if someone were to stick there arm out and push on a car, that car would go spinning.

In my opinion, Nascar Racing 2003 is still the best (for PC).

Haven't tried other NASCAR games but Papyrus Games it's the best.

+100000. After playing Nascar 09 on the PS3 for 2 fuckin years I had been looking forward to this game for months. Nascar 2011 is the worst game I've ever played on the PS3, hell I rented Need for Speed: Undercover (which IGN gave a 4 out of 10) and it was 10x better than this fucked up game. Who makes a Nascar game and doesn't include the Nationwide or Trucks 2 god damn years after the last game had them? And this game was delayed 6 weeks... what the fuck did they fix?

The online does not function well at all. It is simply a disaster. I like how they tried to make a 16 car field but the game has not allowed me to finish a race with more than 2 people in in. I am just very disappointed. Half of the races mess up during the first pace lap and if there is a caution the game cant seem to handle it. Maybe my expectations were too high, but I have searched online and it seems most people wanted the same as I did, and this game did not deliver.

It has the same issues EA had if not more. I am extremely disappointed. Once again Nascar fans looking for a decent game have been F***** in the ass. The back of the game says it is the most realistic nascar game ever developed. I'm calling bull**** on that. The best nascar game I have ever played was back from 2003. Game play footage I have seen, physics are definitely off for crashes, maybe even slam on the gas and ride the walls kind of off.

Beyond that, it is too bad career mode, and the whole game for that matter, is limited to the cup series, though this is the first year with a new developer.

Though this is an assumption based on the videos, breakdown of money, research, crew and sponsors may be too generalized for the game following's preference.
