lasers are a waste.. i had a few 250mw-400mw

green lasers (hulk ultra) from dragonlasers..

one broke within 10months

the other broke in 13 months and 22 days

and had a 15mw blue laser broke in 6 months..

wow cant believe i spent $2800 on them

ha, yea, that was cool.... It was actually a Wine bottle plug that had a cool glass crystal ball on the end with a bunch of facets cut in it, like a diamond. Made for some cool laser visuals. Looked MUCH better in person with the beams shooting everywhere...

no, I got mine here locally. I know eBay was banning the high powered ones for a while. Not sure if they still are...

Well, the further you are away, the more the beam spreads out. Another thing is the object has to be VERY still (not moving). Also, DARK colors is what burns, so something light will reflect the light energy, as where something dark, absorbs the light energy and then burns as a result. It's not a toy for children, but it's really not as bad as it looks eithor.
