Hanguel is not practical at all. It was created based on pronounciation rather than the meaning of the word. It is difficult to learn, and easily to get people confused with the names, nouns, or address.

Latin alphabet is the most practical and easy writting system to learn. U don't have those problem which i mentioned within hanguel, while u r using latin alphabets based language.

Before King Sejong creat Hangle, korean used writing-system called '이두[idu:]' based on Chiness writing-system '한자[han:za]'.

So many commmon people can't read and write it...

Although many scholar object to new writing system 'Hangle', King Sejong made it firmly. I think he is the most important person for korean...
