@gailmckennag It's a movie that was released on VHS and Laserdisc, but never made it to DVD. I got lucky and found a burned DVD on ebay years ago. Haven't seen or heard of an official release though.

I have never seen this or heard this song. I love Toni Basil. I never liked that jack swing rhythm back in the day so I would have missed it but I love her voice, her dancing and the video. I loved the part where the guy bumped into the record and she started makig like she was scratching that was hilarious I must have played that part over again ten times. I absolutely LOVE this outfit! One of her best costumes. I love the song, as it is, but it didn't really need the rap part to be good. It sounds a little out of place.

I'm surprised Basil never released this on an album. It was catchy and fit that 90's type of music with the rap part especially. They never put out a soundtrack to this.

Well even for her age, in 1983 when Micky came out. she looked less then thirty. she was more of a dancer then a singer it was rumored that she was learning breakdance and she could out breakdance the rocksteady krew or who ever it was on the west coast. This is so incredibly hard to believe but Toni Basil is 64. She recorded her first pop song in the mid 1960s when she was 25. It is amazing how youngs she's always looked, and it's ashame she never became (and remained) a superstar.
