The sad thing is, we have the ability to *stop* domestic violence. Cognitive behavioral therapy - classes in stuff like how to identify the feeling of losing control, & how to 'redirect' safely - this works with domestic violence.
But we are too into "judging" & focus all our attention on blaming & trying to split up the couple.
Where these classes exist at all the wait list is often years, with court ordered cases jumping to front of line instead of early intervention
