On 3 December 1950, the first Greek aircraft landed on Korean soil. Immediately the Greek flight was attached to the 21st Troop Carrier Sq. (later renamed 6461 TC Sq.) of 374th Wing of the USAF, based initially at Daegu. From 14 May 1951, the flight was based at Kimpo air base where it remained until 23 May 1955. Thank you sir for your posting and thank you for serving. I f there are any more veterans out there, Make videos and talk about the war you were in. Please don't keep your memories to youself. God Bless.
Thanks you posting this here sir. I appreciate the sacrifice you made on behalf of the world. Koreans are a force that I hope we never have to face again. Thanks to brave men like you South Koreans are free to become the great nation they were destined to be.
I want you to know how much your service means to alot of people(me included).I'm a VietNam vet and know the feeling of isolation from your fellow man.
I'm a 27 year old, and all I can say on behalf of all Americans who understand the price that needs to be pay in order to retain our rights that I hold so dear, is thank you.
I deeply appreciate that Americans died in Korea 54000 more and wounded hundred and thousands to keep freedom against communist. Americans acheived their goals. We Korean survived here by that sacrification of Americans.
Korean Vets are forgotten. The war is even called "The forgotten War"
Vietnam Vets are hated and isn't it called the Hated war or something?
Why do we give so much respect to the WW2 vets only? I mean don't get me wrong, they did great things but these men did better. Vietnam was like 11-15 years long and the Vietcong made Nazis look like cupcakes. (I forgot how long Korea went on.)
My pop was at Pork Chop he "NEVER WOULD TALK ABOUT IT". This man and those like him are why they are called "THE GREATEST GENERATION". I would like to thank you for all you gave, you are truly what makes America great and proud.YOU ARE NOT FORGOTEN.

Useless ? So preventing the Southern Korea from getting invaded was useless, in your opinion ? O_o

Thank you for your blessings, but all the blessings should go to those who fought in "the forgotten war!" They shall never be forgotten.
