mmmmmmmmmmmmm....all looks so yummy. my question is when u say put it in the dehydrator, you put in just like that ? (in the bowl) and then what kind of dehydrator do you have & for how long do u leave it in??
@airplane0780 Hell0 - yes I just put it in like that but it might actually work better if small mounds were put on a teflex sheet - easier for it to dehydrate ... I have an Excalibur dehydrator and I left it in for quite a few hours at 105 degrees. Until it seemed ready.
Thank you! My blog is called Antony in London and the address is in my you tube profile. Never seems to work if i put it here. Good luck with your cleanse! Best wishes, Antony :-)
Raw foodists high fat diet. Is this healthy? I would of thought so. I have read the book 80 10 10 and he suggests that many raw foodists are having a fat diet containing 50-75% fat and that it causes ill-health.
You are soooo wonderful for posting these amazing vids. Your explanations are fanatastic, please keep the vids coming sweetie. As a raw foodist, I'm always looking for new recipes to break the old routine
Thank you for your reply. I found one that attaches to my kitchen aid mixer. one part has to be put to freeze for 15 hours before I can use it, The one you have sounds similiar. Now I'm going to have another look at those chocolate pies.
Thank you for showing the ice cream recipies. I've just started raw fooding and your videos are very clear and precise to follow. what kind of ice cream maker are you using, if I may ask?
Hello - thanks for your comments. I'm glad you find these vids useful. The icecream maker I've got is just one which was discounted but it seems quite good. It's a magimix 1.1 litre model which has a bottom part which you keep frozen in the freezer until you need it and then a churner thing you put on top. Can't wait until the warmer weather here to try it again :-)
Hi Ashley - thanks for dropping by. To answer your question, I used to use sea salt but now I use himalayan rock salt which is apparently better for you and is a nice pinkish colour. best wishes Antony :-)

love all of this!!! very constructive with the raw, i now have the feeling i will never get bored with this.. everrrr! thanks to creative people like you!
OMG That looks wonderful!!! Where is your blog? I want to go make some of your recipes! Well not for a couple weeks I'm starting the Master Cleanse in a couple days. I'm going to check your other videos for how you made those crackers! *crosses fingers*
I love this. I am on my vegan-veggie journey. Not 100%, but incorporating more.I just am at a loss, at how to prepare raw meals, without monotony. I am just looking up recipes, I guess thats a start. Now to convert my picky guys!
Can I come live with you!?! The stuff you make looks so yummy! I would love it if you were willing to do a hands on 'Come Dine With Me' someday. I have been looking for more raw foodies in England. Although, I am all the way up in Northumberland.
You mentioned needing a way to transport your food to work? Check out 'tiffins' on ebay. They are an asian style lunch box, stainless steel with anywhere from 2 to 4 containers. Wonderful to use, and very versitile.
I know what you mean about raw fooders in the UK -- we're not quite where they are in the US, yet ...
I'd love to do a come dine with me day and am actually meeting up with a friend next weekend to consider doing something like that at some point ... stay tuned :-)
Thanks for the tiffin tip - I'll pop over to ebay and have a look :-)
I'm drooling over the ravioli. I don't like beets so thanks for the alternative. Aren't you having fun doing this? You just look so fabulous. You are an inspiration. : )
Thank you so much! You are too kind :-) As I write this I am waiting for my coffee withdrawal symptoms to cease (it won't be long). I'm looking forward to getting right back in there with raw foods this weekend. We're going to have a simple raw salad for dinner and follow that with a piece of chocolate pie. I always find chocolate pie is ample proof that there's no need to feel deprived when eating raw. Best wishes, Antony
Your tomatoe sauce reminds me of biryani sauce. I wonder if there is such a thing as raw biryani, that Indian spicy sauce goo. I remember it has a very intense flavor, maybe it could be replicated raw ....
I've never tried to make a raw biryani but I'm sure it could be done :-) Juliano (one of those famous raw food chefs) says that anything cooked can be replicated raw. If you have a go, let me know how you get on :-) Thanks for your comments!
Hello - To wilt the spinach I just used a very light sprinkle of Himalayan rock salt - that pinkish salt that's apparently full of minerals and is actually good for you! So no, I didn't rinse it off. Apparently all commercial salt is died and treated in dreadful ways to make it white and even so I wouldn't recommend using that at all. Celtic Sea Salt is an alternative to the Himalayan stuff but it's a bit moist which somehow doesn't immediately appeal to me :-)
All of it looks so yummy! Thanks for sharing. I want to try your cheese recipe. I have the same mandolin as you only black in color and that thing is SHARP! I sliced my thumb on time. I enjoy your videos!
Hello & welcome :-) The cheese is great! The full recipe is on my text blog. Don't try the sweet potato ravioli, though, as it just stays too hard. The courgette/zucchini cannelloni is very good - it almost achieves the texture of pasta! I know what you mean about that mandolin. The plastic thing it comes with to hold the vegetable doesn't really seem to work very well, does it? I haven't cut my fingers yet but it's probably only a matter of time .. it's worth it for the thin & easy slicing!
Wow, what a terrific meal! My mouth is watering, yummmmm! I love your kithen, so organized and fresh. I cleaned my kitchen in anticipation of my Excalibur Dehydrator that I should receive in the next day or two. I can't wait! Guess what, my teenage son told me today at lunch (over a raw salad) that he would like to go high raw!
Hi Paula - What a great message. I'm so pleased about (1) the dehydrator - it will be so useful and even more so (2) your son being interested in going raw! This stuff is infectious in the best possible way! Whatever you do don't try to make sweet potato ravioli. It stays too hard. The courgette/zucchini cannelloni on the other hand is Very Good - almost achieves the texture of pasta! I look forward to viewing more from you as your adventure continues :-)
Thanks - and it mostly is! Just don't try the sweet potato ravioli. It stayed too hard. The courgette/zucchini cannelloni was a Great Success and had an almost pasta like texture. I'll make that again :-)
Thanks Antony! You know what I love about being new to raw foods? I get to attribute all of these gorgeous recipes you make to you, instead of the authors of books I've never read! Your videos always give me hope that I can make it through this time of having to keep my eating habits very simple, while things are busy. Now I want a set of the glass jars you have on your counter! You still look the picture of health after all these amazing recipes, too! Well done, you! (Thanks cameraman!)
Ah well, one very smart raw person told me that the same raw recipes are claimed by all sorts of different authors, so I'm happy for you to think they're mine - as I will think of the basil dressing as yours, no doubt! The glass jars are good aren't they? Raw food is so attractive it's good to see it through the glass. I continue to enjoy this way of eating & the way it makes me feel, so thanks for the compliment :-) My cameraman says thanks for thinking of him as well :-)
Those look wonderful Antony! How did the ravioli taste? Those chocolate truffles look so good. I owe you a ravioli video, so I'll go work on that now..lol
Thanks Kat - I'm looking forward to trying the ravioli so I'll let you know. The pizza was delicious but very rich so I'm not sure how much ravioli I'll actually be able to eat. This raw food lark makes food last for a long time, doesn't it? Looking forward to your ravioli video :-)

How can you have a 12 lb weight loss in 3 days!? Humans burn aprox 1500-3000 calories in one day, and 3500 calories = one pound.
Your rosemary/pumpkin crackers look WOW btw! Thank you for that inspiration ^^
Did you soak the nuts in the "cheese" spread for a certain amount of time before blending?
You get 5* because that's where I think you are as a chef ^^
Mmm little raviolis...
The raw food resto in Montreal uses thin sliced marinated zuc to make lasagna. !!
Have you tried rawlafel?
Vegannibal 2 years ago
Thanks for your comments. I tend to soak nuts for a varying amount of time - depending on my available time - at least a couple of hours.
Rawlafel sounds fabulous!
best wishes, Antony :-)
