  • Thom Gross or Steven Colbert?

  • In This Clip, From 0:00 To 0:41, It Was WNEV-TV's The New England News At 11's Weekend Edition Video Open From Saturday Night, October 20, 1984.

  • RM 303 Todd Zuckerwise Angela Cruz Azra Ahmad Phyllis Costa Joni Leddy 1:1 (WT) Joe Calvert Richard Raimez-Morlaes Allan Graves Alex Lopez Daniel Sirgusa Willie Tate 1:1
  • ghouse racing for intro of the new england news...

  • Unknown 1990s WWOR/WGNT announcer at the end.

  • HOLY CRAP! Paula Zahn was on Boston TV before going national?

Was she the one who basically pickpocketed Jane Pauley of her spot on the Today show in the early '90's?

  • No, that was Deborah Norville, Paula was on opposite Jane on CBS This Morning with Harry Smith.

  • OH yeah! For some reason, I get those two mixed up!

  • oh that brings back the memories.

  • whoa TODD GROSS...he looks super 80s in this! haha, gotta love the corny 80s graphics, but i like the classic clips

  • Like the theme and graphics for this one. CNN is gag-worthy.

  • This was no longer Newse7en from 1982, but had used a new title. By the way Paula Zahn is no longer at CNN, & Todd Gross is out west, doing the morning weather at KTVX in Salt Lake City.

  • I had no idea that Paula used to be on the Boston affiliate.

  • It's often joked that during that time.. 7 Bullfinch Place had a revolving door of airtalent. Then, it was due to being given the boot due to ratings. Now, its because the most of the talent is on their knees every night for a job over at WCVB. If they have any journalistic scruples. 7 News... TV's answer to the lazer light show.

  • ooogghh

  • Does anyone have any WNAC/WNEV/WHDH news clips & promos from from the years 1972-82 before that station became WNEV, & later 'HDH? I would like to see good old Boston newscasts & promos, especially WNAC as a CBS affiliate from the 70's & early 80's. I would appreciate it. Thanks.
