well, don't base Blind Guardian off this song. They are a speed metal band from Germany, and most of their songs are heavy and fast. This is why Bard's Song is good.

That's the only bad thing about Wacken: The stages are too close.

You can hear the other band play through BG's music, that sucks. Same thing with Korpiklaani in 2006, couldn't hear shit because of the band at the other stage.

I was talking with some of the guys in the Belphegor camp when this started, and Belphegor guitarist Sigurd is like "oh come on, lets sing the Bard song!"

Even weirder was him and bassist Serpenth sang it. Very funny.
