I've been to that location a couple times. About the only decent spot at iad. In another vid from here I saw my plane taking off for ams, and my dad was piloting it to! Pretty cool:) and about the military plane, I think the German luftwafe flies a couple c-130s here. They have a building here to

Try and get a better camera though. Either that, or zoom in on the planes so we can get a closer look. The planes are far away from the parking garage and it's hard to see them.

also if you panned a little bit to the right at about 1:45 you might see a military cargo plane. that plane is based out of dulles (AFAIK) and i see it there almost everyday

I've never seen a DC-8 up close before until I recorded this video. It looks like UPS put boeing 737 engines on them, similar to what the US Air Force does with their 707's

@ElAl4ever those aren't 737 engines because those are Pratt and Whitney engines and 737's don't have those they have CFM 56-7B26's and 7's

@bigwill619 I know that now, that comment was two years ago hehe. Well, they are comparable in thrust size with the CFMs if I recall correctly.

I said that i did in the video. I went spotting after my visit to the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy center. I's just unfortunate that the runways were operating on the other side. It would have been easier to get closer videos and pics if they were operating from the North.
