Assembling them at home is definitely more fun and teaches you more about the weapon than buying one off a shelf. I just finished a Rock River and honestly I can say I'm much more attached/proud of it than if I'd just bought it already assembled (not to mention I saved $200)
nicksam112 thats the fun of it jackass i have built two of them already and its more fun then buying one off the shelf nice ar15 man people that buy them normaly no nothing on how they work or go together
It's all right, but not too great. It's plastic, so it reduces weight, but the magazines stick in the well because it's plastic, and the takedown pins are REALLY hard to push out. I usually have to push them out with a screw driver.
Parts: -GI Polycarbonate Lower Receiver -GI Lower Parts Kit -Rock River Arms 2-Stage Trigger -Chrome Plated Bolt and Bolt Carrier -20" DTI 1:9 Chrome-Lined Barrel -YHM 4-Rail Free Float Forearm Tube -A4 Upper Reveiver -Badger Tac Latch Charging Handle -SureGrip Ergonomical Pistol Grip -Bushnell 6-12x Variable Zoom Optical Sight -(I originally had an Aimpoint Comp M3 red dot sight mounted on it) Need I say more, or should I mail you the receipt?
I intentionally left it off. Flash suppressors reduce accuracy over distance because of the difference in pressure. Diverting gasses upwards reduces pressure above the bullet and can throw it off course.
The new flash suppressors compenaste for that fact and the redirected gases counteract the barrel rise, therefore increasing accuracy. Good job though, looks nice.
Did I miss the rapid fire?

Nice rifle build Dude! Might want to let it marinade in sauce for 30 minutes and it will be dead center too.

You assembled factory made parts, Thats not homemade. But I see you are proud of what you did. Keep up the good shooting!

you mean you assembled it. building it would be from scratch in a gunsmiths vocab.
