oh if you're wondering why the sky is blue it's because the sky is shooting out waves with short wave lengths and high energy and frequency (and thats how blue comes) and the sky shoots out those wavelengths making it appear blue. it has to do with something about the atmosphere.

I was going to answer why the sky was blue, the sunset was red, and the grass was green, but I realized I didn't have enough characters and there was no use anyway.  But come on! Why is the grass green? Basic biology! Everyone should know that.

Saying that the sky is blue because shorter wavelength light is absorbed and re-radiated by gas molecules in the atmosphere which causes scattering and the blue color we see in the sky is admittedly a little more complex. I guess yeah, I could say "Blue light is scattered by gas molecules, and at sunset the blue light on the horizon is scattered enough that only the red light reaches us" but that seems over-simplified.
