  • poor speed :(

  • Have you tried to do it over USB? I can't manage to do it. Which programs did you use to set up the conection?

  • Using the nokia connection manager?

  • I've already tried it, and it didn't work. Maybe my carrier locked the modem usage. I guess I'll search a bit more.

  • Can be a number of reasons, even the connection manager can cause problems, who is your carrier/package?

  • Movistar Argentina.

  • To set up the nokia connection manager manually:

    Open the manager, click Connect To The Internet icon (top right), click the spanner (Configure), select modem, click next, select "configure manually", now get settings from phone...

    Menu -> Tools -> Settings -> Connection -> Destinations -> Internet.

    Then highlight the movistar internet connection, press edit, now use this information to fill in the blanks on the phone, the 4th box (initialisation commands) can stay empty.

    Hope this helps.

  • It keeps saying "Failed to connect to the network! One Touch Access could not connecto to the selected device."

  • OK, this means the connection between the computer and mobile is at fault and not the internet connection itself.

    Uninstall the nokia software, then download the latest version of the software from the internet and install it and follow the instructions.

    Also are you using the cable or bluetooth to connect?

  • I'm using the USB cable. I've solved the problem. Just needed to change my product code, update the firmware to latest version, and use One touch access with default settings.

    Thank you for your help.
