@Mutterjunge yes the slide out keyboard is very strong you also have a touch screen keyboard he is lying i like the slide out keyboard because i am a larger guy so the slide out is better for me vs the onscreen keyboard

bojangelsX--This phone is basically like the mytouch3g except with a keyboard. it may have a few more differences but that's the main thing, so if you're okay with no physical keyboard then I'd get the mytouch3g. The G1 is also more bulky and heavier.
