  • I was informed that all of the dogs have now been adopted, thank you hsus for everything.

  • you know they killed most of these dogs if not all of them

  • @ElissaMaple1

The Humane Society doesn't euthanize dogs. As far as I know NONE in Vermont do. Kudos on having a positive attitude about 54 abused dogs being rescued and having an opportunity at life.

  • @ElissaMaple1 That's not true. My local Humane Society helped out with this rescue and had some of the dogs at their shelter- all of them were adopted.

  • I adopted one of these precious puppies. Camilla now is in a loving home and time will help erase those memories for her I am sure.

Those people should be caged and under fed along with any other cruelty they did to the dogs.

    Thanks to the HSUS!

  • All of these dogs are doing well now and under very good care. They should have loving homes very soon.

  • This place is just an hour away and I may adopt one of those dogs. Probably a puppy though.

  • @peanut9616 You're wrong to say that to @OkieAmazon. The people really do care. A couple days ago I helped them take care of the pets and they were very sweet and loving to the pets, it's not just for the money.

  • Thanks for the great work you do. I'm proud to be a supporter of the HSUS.

  • WHERE ARE THE DOGS NOW??????? If HSUS "rescued" them, they have all undoubtably been euthanized by now.

  • @OkieAmazon All they are going to do is dump them at some shelter since they don't own one, where they will be PTS because of overcrowding. All they want is the publicity to make them look good so they will get more of your dollars for their pension funds..they don't care about the animals!!! Just your money!!!

  • @OkieAmazon look at this poor idiot here :/ let me help you. "If HSUS didn't rescue them, they would have all been dead by now, with NO CHANCE of being given a caring home!"

  • omg, i used to live in franklin county, vermont. i had no idea... good work!!! :')

  • i respect u all

  • they do not all look healthy and clean!!!!!!!!!! there were 68 dogs in all, they had to leave the 14 healthy ones with the owner. i live in northern vermont and i know this lady.she is the most unlikable person i know. it is not the humane society's responsibilty to pay for these peoples dogs. if u cant afford to take care of 68 dogs than maybe u shouldnt have them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and how can u tell in such a short video that the dogs are healthy? watch the wptz video and you can c a nursing dog

  • everyone of these dogs looked healthy and clean.. in good weight and certainly people friendly.. instead of taking them why doesn't the HSUS HELP the people that own them?help them build some new shelters.. give them some food ( although they looked well fed) a "puppy mill"? how come there are no puppies?the taking of peoples property has to stop..

  • @bestuvall "The taking of peoples property has to stop."

Dogs aren't property. They are animals, living creatures. With feelings that deserve love and respect.

  • @bestuvall, you want the HSUS to spend their member donations helping a puppy-miller who earns his miserable living breeding and selling dogs for profit while millions are literally dying for a home in 4,000 shelters across America?

    You are an imbecile!

  • awww 1:20 the dog is smiling :) "yay someone that loves me"

  • All this abuse has to change! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! This is a crime worth life long prison terms.

  • Please keep going, close more down! <3

  • There is a reason I will never get a purebred dog.....this is one of them.

  • well done to all involved

  • Thank you, Humane Society! You guys are my favorite charity--I wish I could send $1,000 a month but I'm on a fixed income & contribute what I can!! Animals rule..or they should!!

  • My rescued Lab barked when he heard the dogs in the video, I think he's happy his friends were saved, thank you Humane Society of the United States ...

  • Great job. I volunteer with Lab Rescue of Greater Richmond. These "owners" need to be made to live in the environment that they made these wonderful dogs live in. Breeders need to be better regulated by the state. And these regulations need to be enforced!!

  • Those poor dogs :( So glad they were Rescued! Good Work!!!

  • Is there a specific site or place we can go to get adoption information for these dogs?

  • These video's are way to short. These are the kinds of videos that need to be at least 15 minutes long. I like to see more than this. This is like porn for compassionate people.

  • Good For You Guys:)) Keep Up The Good Work! <3

  • yay more dogs are saved :)

  • yea at least they are safe and out of danger. HOPEFULLY

  • awww! poor dogs:(

  • awwwww! poor dogs:(

  • those eyes....Good work!!

  • isn't this allowed to be done to chickens and cows though?

  • I'm so happy those poor dogs got out okay.
