What boggles my mind with most of the new star wars figures is that they put ball hinge joints on pretty much everywhere except the hip joints, where in my opinion it would  need it more. I don't get it.

What's the most realistic Chewbacca figure to date? Shud i go for this or the Saga Legends one? Im really thinking of getting one.

Original vintage figures are always welcomed to be repacks in my oppinion-- just the original Han Solo should be a repack, since the latest ones suck (facialwise)

Its kind of "funny" how we have to assemble Chewies gun ourselves, but theres NO mention of that on/ in the packaging. Usually on toys,manufactures tell us if some assembly is required dont they? Or at least include a leaflet w/ instructions on how to assemble the gun. I worked it out myself, just like most "adults" probably would, but dont Hasbro claim that the majority of ppl that buy these figures, are young boys? Maybe Hasbro consider having to assemble these parts, a "play feature" ?

@FilmakerMike Im not sure about that Mike. Hasbro seem to know what there doing when you read there Q+As. im not sure theyd appreciate me "complaining" about something like that. Besides it was more of an "observation" than a complaint by me. But we will most likely see a Chewy on a Vintage card before too long, and they will probably include the same "unassembled" crossbow/weapon. Hmmm? i'll think about it Mike and maybe post a question to them on my local star wars site.Tnx for reviews Mike :)

i just got this figure today it was in the new shadow of the darkside packaging but they have taken the breathing mask out,do you know why they would do this?

1) yes, i was able to put him back together, seems a little loose, but no big deal since i dont know how stiff the waist was before.

3) understood, i thought that clone wars era figures would come with clone wars weapons and original trilogy figures would come with original trilogy weapons.

4) so i have a chewbacca figure thats a cross between the mynock hunt and the deleted rotj scene figures since it has characteristics of both?

3)Well if you look at the weapons some of them are prequel era and some are original trilogy era weapons.

should i be pissed since the leg is wrong? i saw you had some trouble putting the bowcaster together, did you figure it out? you gotta pull the barrels apart and stick the bowpart through and then position it toward the front of the gun. the sight thats on the top was really poorly glued on and that came off on me while i was struggling to put the gun together and get it into chewys hands.

i got this figure yesterday. i like it but my gripes are 1) the figure came apart at the waist when i was taking him out of the package, 2) the bowcaster was a pain in the butt to put together and the sight on it came off, i have to glue it back on 3) the battle packs are all the same, i was hoping for an e-11 at least. why would chewy need a bunch of 20 year old clone wars surplus weapons?

4)my figures left leg has something wrapped around it like a canvas cast with straps around it. variance?

1)Where you able to put it back together?

3)well since this is the Saga Legends line ALL Saga Legends action figures come with the "clone locker" that has all the standard blasters.

4)That thing wrapped around chewie's left leg is the "variant" since they used 2 different versions for this Saga Legends figure. If you remember the Chewie from the "Return of the Jedi" deleted scene figure released in wave 1 of the legacy collection last year. Yup, that's it.

i love the new packaging, but the figure is a repack from previous Chewie figures released. Hasbro tends to do this a lot. Great review.

i agree with "undeadplastic"! the clone wars is way overrated! It might be good for kids to get in to star wars again, but honestly its not "STAR WARS" i want more OTC figures!

No, The clone wars are the figures that they keep doing over and over. Clone clone clones.....Makes me vomit. We need more origional SW figs and it seems that this year the OT is taking over so thank god for that. CW Sux.
