whats embarassing about having faith in a team , its a leafs nation because we all love the same team and enjoy every game the leafs put on for us.. we may not make the playoffs every year but its an interesting rush watching them try and get in and we still have sold out games every night

That's absolute bullshit. I've sampled sports all across North America, and Europe as well. As a Leaf fan myself, it's absolutely embarassing what Leafs Nation (most of them, anyway) are all about. They are not the best fans or the greatest fans in pro sports - nowhere near it.
Ridiculous. If you think that we have the greatest fans then your just as delusional as opposition fans taunt us as being. We are nowhere near as close to being the greatest fans in hockey, never mind pro sports
Burke is the GM we have needed for the past 60 years... he has such respect for the club, can handle the media, and is not afraid to get in on the biddings for free agents or trades... go leafs
