  • I can't wait for all the bigoted leaders born in the 20s-60s to just die the fuck out. Old, over traditional, backward thinking, living in the past, bogoted, hateful wankers.

  • Drowned out by Sufjan Stevens :D

  • I am very mad that Bill O'Reilly compared me to a terrorist. Fox News is one sided.

  • He is an old folk, conservative and probably a hidden racist, and worst of all that usually never changes but anyway he is just one person whose reliability is just too biased which is fox news main hiring requirement. I just can not stand that channel

  • I may hate O'Reilly but if he upset most of the lgbt fans with this then that's good.

  • Bill is a grade A moron.

  • bill o' reilly - homophobe.

  • O'Reilly likes being assfucked.

  • Wow that's is fucked

  • title is misleading

  • Just another reason why I want to get out of the USA so badly...

  • I would love to smack him...

  • People who have problems with homosexuality are insecure about their own sexuality. Im a straight guy and i could care less if bob wants to date bill. People are dying across the globe, focus your attention there. All im saying is that its 2011 and we should be focusing on stuff that actually matters.

  • Eww gays

  • @Ace3622

    Ewww homophobia

  • I have never been a fan of O'Reilly and I think he is a pompous ass, but he by no means, compared gays to Al Qaeda.

  • Lord, people are idiots. He wasn't comparing gays to Al Qaeda. He's poking fun at the ad campaign itself, not homosexuality. He's saying that the "come as you are" campaign is just dumb because it's not like it makes you wanna go out and eat a hamburger.

  • Ewwwwwwwwww, that add is messed up though, promoting homosexuality, i'm not a homo-phobic person, but um, homosexuality has sky-rocketed over the past 15 years, without a doubt, why? Because of all the promotion of homosexuality. But i'll have to finish with saying, Bill O'Reilly, you are the most ignorant, arrogant, uneducated piece of shit I've ever heard speak on television.

  • @FoetusInYourNoodles There is no way to promote homosexuality. You're attracted to what you're attracted to. No amount of exposure will change that.

  • @FoetusInYourNoodles Correction, more people live openly than 15 years ago.

  • @FoetusInYourNoodles Do don't become gay, you cannot choose who you are attacked to. Saying that you can is just ignorant. If Homosexuals are around straights all the time, why aren't they straight? Because it isn't a choice.

  • i hope o'reilly will never come to the states ... oh wait, never mind

  • Ow come now. Any person with half a brain can see he was trying to make a joke by referring to Al-Qaeda and was not comparing them to gays. I'm gay myself and don't agree with some of his comments, but naming this video "O'Reilly Compares Gays to Al-Qaeda" is utterly ridiculous.

  • I bet O'Reilly was the first one to take it up the ass when he was attending an all boys school! Fuck that peckerwood and his conservative bullshit opinions. If you don't like queers, stop fucking them! If you ain't fuckin' them, then it's none of your fucking business who other ppl sleep with! Got it muthafucka???

  • Man, that guy is a douche.

  • So many changes just in my short 31 yr lifetime. I'm beginning to understand exactly why God will destroy the very earth he had created. Shouldn't be long now...

  • And what is not long from now? When is your god going to destroy our world tommorow? next week?

  • does any thinking person really listen to what's his name?

  • Yep, Bill.

An AD like that will never come here.

Just like a woman will never be a lead character in a film,

A black person will never win an Academy award.

    Yep.

    WILL NEVER EVER HAPPEN.

  • @PrinceOfBabylon Oh you forgot something. Black man in White house. GUARANTEE it will never happen.

  • element131x hit nail on the head, the gays get angered if anyone so much as question their ideology

  • O'Reilly: "I like puppies." Left wing: "O'Reilly admits sickening perversion!"

Seriously, when did he compare gays to Al-Qaeda? I guess mentioning the two in the same interview constitutes a comparison now.

  • @element131x He very clearly made the comparison. At 1:09.

"Part of an overreaching campaign called 'come as you are'... this happens to be their gay-friendly ad" "Do they have an Al-Quaeda ad?"

He's making the connection, implying that if they are trying to reach all walks of life and are choosing to include homosexuals, should they not also include Al-Quaeda? It clearly (intentionally or not) is demonstrative of Bill O'Reilly's view of the gay community. Also, Bill O'Reilly is just a dick.

    "

  • @StepdadMusic He's not comparing them, and even IF he meant it that way, there is nothing "clear" about it.. he's commenting on the fact that if McDonald's wants to target all walks of life, they can't be picky and only choose the walks they agree with. It could just as easily have been that they have Jewish ads and he said "do they have a Nazi ad?" Is that comparing them? No. it would be contrasting. You're just seeing it as a comparison because you already think he's "a dick."

  • @element131x

This is a nature humanity he's comparing to a cognizant choice to enlist in a hate group. To lump them like that is a mind set where he expresses A group of people with a similar characteristic in personality by nature should be accepted as openly as a group of people who symbolize and have exemplified hate-crimes to genocide.

  • @StepdadMusic Clearly? What is clear about it?

He was simply listing a radical group as a joke toward McDonald's and their "come as you are" campaign.

You are just one of those activists or w/e you want to call them that try to turn everything around because you cant get your way despite all of your useless protesting.

  • None of my gay friends will even go near a McDonald's, for obvious reasons.

  • It is great to live in Europe.

  • @wjgmspeedy Yeah. The USA= Worst country on the planet. Hands down. It's only a matter of time before i get outta here...

  • french are fags whats new ??

  • @mythkw And Americans are idiots

  • @radafat I'm an American and I agree.

  • @septemberbaby83 I'm American too...lol

  • What an ass, comparing gays to Al-Qaeda? Really?!?!

  • @Woofcub71 That's like comparing Mother Teresa to Hitler lol

  • wwwwwwwwwwwwooooooooooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwww

    he is bad.

  • Holy fuck, lol. bark bark bark bark blah blah blah blah bark bark bark bark blah blah blah blah bark bark bark bark blah blah blah blah. Lukkit me, I'z an Internet troll, lol. I will confound them all with my skewed logic, baffling bullshit, and desperate ad hominem. Just amazing. And more than a little pathetic. Are you all done now, yappy? Maybe someone else has a comment. Time for you to get out of the sandbox and get your diaper changed, lol.

  • O'Reilly is gay

  • lmfao you say america is still living in the middle ages??

thats why we invented the car.. the computer.. weapons of mass destruction.. space shuttles that are strong enough to goto the moon...

we have bigger things to worry about than the fucking gay community.. trying to start contraversy cause their gay lives just dont make sense..

cant wait till another Hitler or Nepoleon comes to reign terror on Europe again then who will be living in the middle ages you fool

  • Homosexuality is wrong anyways so you know what. i dont care. ima tell you like it is in a very short summary ;D homosexuality is not only against god but also nature!!!! idiots. and he was joking about the mcdonalds saying come as you are directed at al qaeda. not comparing them to gays you dumb morons...

  • @jimi112090 F.O.D.

  • If they really wanted to show that society has improved, after the father says "Too bad there are boys in your class", the boy should have said "Dad, I'm gay" and the father should have then said something like "Oh, okay, sorry". But the boy only smiles..which doesn't mean much...he obviously hasn't come out yet

  • How does this compare gays to al qaeda?

  • @wraithguard01 When he states, very obviously at the end: 'so is there one about Al-Qaeda?' As in, if they're making one about gays, obviously Al-Qaeda is next. So not comparing them, just bunching them together in a big group of 'undesirables'.

  • Fuck you Bill O Reilly.

  • @leebeyer3 calm down queer

  • No he did not COMPARE gays to Terrorists, he just used them in the same sentance. He does not say "Gays are like Terrorists." True he shouldn't have opened his BIG mouth to say something that stupid. McDonalds is a global hamburger joint. They need to do everything they can to improve their image. I dont see anything wrong with the commercial, but I see it as a waste of $ for them. I dont see ANY food in the commercial. I see an afterschool special...

  • Homosexuals are CONFUSED/TRAUMATIZED heterosexuals...period... but yet, GOD still loves them, AND he wants from them the same thing he wants from EVERY HUMAN = PURITY, CHASTE, GENEROUS, FAITHFULL, LOVING, CARRING, HOPEFULL, RESPECTFULL, FORGIVING, OBEDIENT.... pax (peace)

  • How the hell has a Macdonald's add made gotten this much news coverage...

  • I hope someday this shows in the U.S. :) Wonder what he'll say then. :P

  • @Minoko1teddy The usa is a christian country and thats how it was founded! forgive me if i stil believe in god. your all morons... It says homosexuality is wrong in the bible and america is a country founded on gospel of jesus christ.... dont say it aint becuase ive already lookied it up. we founded our contry citing 27 biblical violations from britain. its a shame we let so many ppl in from other countries they morphing america into the very countries they left...

  • @jimi112090 Wow what a strong reaction to my innocent comment...really. :P

I believe in God too (with a capital G, btw). I am a moron because I have different views from you...? Suit yourself. Have you talked to theologians on that passage(s)? Because much of the Bible has deeper meaning that we lose today, because society is so different. God doesn't make mistakes, and homosexuality is not a choice. What would Jesus do? Love. Btw, if u aren't a Native American, u are from another country. :P

  • @jimi112090 Actually, the USA was founded to be a secular country. All that stuff about "God" was added in afterwards, NOT by the "founding fathers". There are actually collections of letters on the topic by the famous founding Americans held in very high esteem who defended their staunch positions on keeping church and state separate entities. The USA was never meant to be "a christian country" - it was meant to be a secular country. THAT was the American dream. Do a little research, my friend.

  • @Kinironiba Jesus its sad how many American's don't know their own history. I live in Canada and I even know this. It's sad when people twist words and facts as well as their own perceptions of reality to conform to their ideological beliefs.

Oh and some of the founding fathers had a pretty negative view on Christianity itself. Like Ben Franklin said lighthouses are more useful than Churches. Thomas Jefferson made his own "Bible" which removed references to God, angels and the like (afaik)

  • That woman is absolutely right, NEVER say never, unless you are God and are all-knowing.

Airplanes crashing into the World Trade Towers? NEVER!

  • @carguyucf You're right, it doesn't have anything to do with marketing hamburgers. But that's the point. It doesn't have anything to do with anything, they just decided to simply use a gay person in their commercial, which is how it should be. McDonald's didn't make a big deal about it, right-wing conservatives like O'Reilly made a big deal about it.

  • Not everyone shares the view of having their head crammed up their smelly ass, and thank god some people can see that there are pieces of shit like this one out there who are completely worthless. The only thing this sub human trash is good for is riling people up and spreading hate. Way to go bill, hope you have a nice car crash asshole.

  • Not everyone shares the view of having their head crammed up their smelly ass, and thank god some people can see that there are pieces of shit like this one out there who are completely worthless. The only thing this sub human is good for is riling people up and spreading hate- way to g bill, hope you have a nice car crash asshole.

  • @jerseyboy720 calm down queer. go uselessly protest for your gay rights somewhere.

  • @H3mi426

Oh right, ya know cause clearly that doesn't express a similar sense of prejudice minorities received in the sixties, not at all. >=\

  • @kaykaynya Hahaha. Compare it to the views of the general society from nearly 50 years ago.

  • @H3mi426

And ten years before even that? It started in that nonchalant almost arrogant disregard you're displaying. "Haha nigger, go to your own bathroom. =D" >=|

    You're no different.

  • @kaykaynya Now I'm confused. What does letting Al-Qeada, A TERRORIST GROUP, have to do with the way African Americans were treated in the PAST????

  • @H3mi426

Sir, I was indefinitely replying to your previous comment to jerseyboy720.

  • Wowww, really?

As on SNL, the countdown for O'Reilly getting caught with a male prostitute startssss NOW!

  • and the choice of word "come" - as you are......the double entendre is zinging ALL over the place.....

  • I think the question that should have been asked was "Why SHOULDN'T McDonald's run a commercial with a gay character in it?". I mean, there really is no reason why not besides intolerance and the inability to recognize that gay people are now as much a part of our culture as anything else.

  • That's not a comparison of gays to Al-Qaeda. Not defending O'Reilly, just stating what seems to be the case.

  • I will agree that Bill O'Reilly is a tool, but he's really not comparing gays to Al Qaeda, but I see what you did there.

  • oreilly is an IDIOT.

  • @kessenm Says the guy who couldn't spell his name right or bother to capitalize his sentence?

  • To be fair, he didn't compare gays to Al-Qaeda.

  • What a dumbass. It's shit like this that gives Americans a bad image. This really pisses me off. O'Reilly should be flogged.

  • @Max9373 "Making a joking reference to al queda is horrible! I'll prove how much better I am by suggesting MEDIEVAL TORTURE!"

    Fucking grow up.

  • Seperation of church and state. churches dont have to let gays get married in churches but they should be allowed to get married by law. there people just like everyone else. gay guys just dont invite me to your bachelor party haha but besides that gays go get married.

  • why complain about an ad?

surely the business has the right to make the ad if they like

it's not as if it's a taxpayer funded ad

  • Please Bill, do us all a favour and resign. This is a guy who claims not to care one way or the other on the gay issue. Just leave, quit, go away.

  • what an ignorant, intolerant, idiot.

  • :( I hope they never let O'Reilly in McDonalds or France ever again. These places are too decent for him.

  • Ughh I'm discusted by bill o Riley and once there generation dies America will be slot more liberal

  • Is it homophobia or is it just plain stupidity?

  • @bateryacidinc is there a difference between the two?

  • @cosplayavenger Sort of....

  • @bateryacidinc well, i suppose that is the case most of the time. i still feel that a combination of the two are at work here.

  • Ya dumb Europeans. I'm almost sorry we even contributed to WWII.

  • @LudicrouslyLuis And im so regreted we contributed to the birth of your nation, with criminals and scumbag like you

  • The arrogant bigot homophobic assholes like you O'Reilly are the reasons that this commercial will never be shown on America. You are such a jackass

  • @myteewhytee You're working hard to destroy America by using a youtube name that starts with the letter "m". It is the second letter in the word "America". With that you are implying that America will never be FIRST.

See, I can spew out nonsense too.

  • @myteewhytee uh.. what??

    troll?

  • @myteewhytee WOW! You aren't a homophobic asshole or anything...(not the sarcasm)

  • @myteewhytee Boy you said it! I knew there were some clear thinking intelligent people out there somewhere.

  • @myteewhytee wow, seriously? I'm gay, raised in america, love my country, but according to you i'm working hard to destroy it without even knowing it!

  • @myteewhytee well can you tell me how butt fucking is destroying america?

  • I think it's a Cell Phone friendly AD! Because there's a cell phone in the ad! Clearly McDonald's is trying to spread the use of cell phones! What a foul message! O'Reilly is so "smart".

  • that's the problem with conservatives. they are ignorant. guess what? times have changed!

it's weird that he has conservative values when he had a sex scandal.

  • @abridgedfan107 not strange at all , its so common in fact. Moral easily clashes when the person of defends it has broken it

  • BO is a nigger!

  • I'm glad there's more people who don't like it.

  • maybe were looking at this the wrong way. maybe he was born a douche. maybe he has no control over it any more than a gay man chooses to be gay

  • @TheRetrospecs13 no douche baggery is not by birth it's that his mom forgot to tell him if you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all. he was born without a mental filter but so was i i just took the time to build one. it has big holes in it but i built it.

  • OMG I WANT TO SLAP HIM!!

  • I have to say, I do think its a tad bit odd for the French to portray this sort of thing in a fast food commercial, but Im not against it. I think what Bill Oreily said was out of line and pretty offensive.

  • Omg America, is this for real? It's so sad!! Europe (especially France, Spain & Holland) is so much improved qua tolerance.. And you guys are still living in the Middle Ages

  • @Brabander87 Not all of us are living in the Middle Ages, just the narrow-minded, intolerant conservatives. And Fox news is widely regarded by intelligent people as the most bigoted, ridiculous, extremist right wing news station in the country. Please don't generalize us by Bill O Reilly, haha.

  • @Brabander87 Didn't France just ban the burka? just saying

  • @Brabander87 guess what we lives in the middle ages 500 years ago, USA are living it now! LOL they're so sad and we laugh so much at them

  • @ChineseAuthority The middle ages were not 500 years ago... What would that be in the middle of?

  • @Brabander87 and portugal, gays can marry in portugal

  • @Brabander87 Oh no! Someone mentioned Al Queda within the same topic as homosexuals! How horribly hateful and bigoted! Oh wait, no. You're just a butthurt fucking idiot completely divorced from reality. Incidentally "you guys"? Wow, way to be a hypocritical fucking bigot and write off a whole country of over 300 million people you've never fucking met. Don't ever open your stupid mouth again.

  • @TheRealAkaRai It wasn't coincidental. If it was he wouldn't be on TV everyday. Americans are on average more homophobic than much of Western Europe. Performing character assassinations on other youtubers really just shows how much of a intellectual conversation you can stimulate.

Out of curiosity what do you think of homosexuals?

  • @RZMaslic It wasn't a comparison, he was more or less saying this demographic stuff is asinine, like McDonald's previous "I'm Lovin' It" campaign targeted at black people, or even more disastrous "I'd hit it" ad.

And here you are, performing character assassinations on religious people, Americans, and O'Reilly, oh and me with the crack bringing the topic up. By all means, show me which polls you've based your assertion that Americans are "more homophobic" on. And it better be that specific term

  • @TheRealAkaRai Hmm use that specific term... It should be noted that it is a umbrella term encompassing different behaviors/attitudes towards homosexuals including prejudice, discrimination, a irrational fear of homosexuals and so forth.

Almost 45% of republicans have a negative perception on homosexuals, as opposed to 23% democrats thus the average would be around. A Gallup poll in may found that 53% of Americans do not support gay marriage. (comments will be continued)

  • @RZMaslic Oh where to begin with the ignorance here? First off, being against gay marriage is in no way being homophobic. This is why I asked for that specific term. None of your statistics refer to homophobia, thus you're proven your claim was ignorant, unfounded bullshit. There's a stark difference between not having a favorable opinion of something, or disagreeing with a group on a certain issue, and being afraid of said group.

  • @RZMaslic To continue, I have an unfavorable opinion of pop music. Does that make me "popophobic"? No, your statistics are utterly useless. More amusing is your mention of Democrats. Obama is against gay marriage. So is Joe Biden and both Clintons. Are you familiar with the Westboro Baptist Church? aka the "god hates f-gs" people? Yeah, they're all registered Democrats. The leader, Fred Phelps has run as a Democrat for governor on several occasions -and always lost. They were friends with Al Gor

  • @TheRealAkaRai 51% of France oppose Samesex marriage according to one poll, 90% of UK supports anti-discrimination laws for Gays, 82% of the population of the Netherlands supports Gay marriage and Belgium, Spain and the Netherlands all give Gays full marriage rights. Now you are probably wondering what does this have to do with Homophobia? Well because these countries accept gays more they give them rights and privileges like anyone else in their population. (cont)

  • @RZMaslic And now we move further into your insanity. None of these statistics even mention homophobia. Instead you have to make by your own admission assumptions, which in this matter are completely and utterly worthless, and don't prove a damned thing. Hate crime legislation is hypocritically bigoted, and if anything that indicates a low opinion of homosexuals, as it states they shouldn't be treated equally.

  • @TheRealAkaRai So by inferencing we can assume that societies which have higher rates of acceptance of gays and lower homophobia are more likely to treat Gays like other humans. Thus we can assume that the opposite is true too. Societies with lower acceptance of Gays and higher rates of homophobia don't give these rights out like in countries with more acceptance of gays. Interesting to note in some of these countries politicians and religious figures take part in pride demontrations to(cont)

  • @RZMaslic Further, if your argument depends on referencing The Netherlands, it's already in quite a bit of trouble. The Netherlands is the extremely backwards place where a 16 year old boy can hire a prostitute, have sex with an animal while smoking pot, and all that's fine, but if he downloads a pirated file from the internet he'll face serious jail time. Their attitude towards prostitution has lead to The Netherlands becoming the worldwide capital in human trafficking.

  • @TheRealAkaRai raise awareness.

  • @RZMaslic Further, you mention "pride demonstrations". Do you realize how inherently hypocritical it is for someone to speak positively about those while at the same time claiming any country not for gay marriage is bigoted? You're saying, it's not okay for heterosexuals to have any title to themselves, while at the same time saying it's good for homosexuals to have their own parades, award ceremonies, bars, and defense funds only for themselves. By your logic GLAAD are bigots.

  • @TheRealAkaRai Hmm so your telling me that heterosexuals have been discriminated and threatened for hundreds and hundreds of years all around the world like homosexuals? Homosexuals are a minority who have been and in many places still are frequently targeted against simply because of their sexual orientation. To combat middle age mentalities many countries do treat homosexuals differently because they are at risk from discrimination and have been treated like second class in the past. (cont)

  • @RZMaslic Strawman fallacy. Don't ask me "what I'm telling you" respond to what I'm saying rather than having to create some bullshit to respond to. Hate crime legislation is a savage hypocrisy. If you kill someone, you should go to jail, it shouldn't matter what their race or sexual orientation was. It's asinine and bigoted to say someone deserves extra punishment because they targeted some special favored group.

  • @TheRealAkaRai GLAAD aren't bigots because their is a real need for such an organization as homosexuals are a frequently discriminated against minority. "good for homosexuals to have their own parades, award ceremonies, bars...only for themselves" Your free to to go to these parades and bars if you want to I don't think that there is a "sexual orientation requirement" to these events however I doubt you (like I) would really enjoy it.

  • @RZMaslic You're completely and utterly missing the point. If you say it's bigoted that the definition of marriage only applies to a man and a woman, then you're saying any group only for homosexuals is bigoted as well. You can't have it both ways, either one is wrong or neither is. It's like a guy complaining that he's being discriminated against because he can't see a gynecologist.

  • @TheRealAkaRai ". Do you realize how inherently hypocritical it is for someone to speak positively about those [pride demonstrations] while at the same time claiming any country not for gay marriage is bigoted?" How is this remotely hypocritical? By your logic speaking positively about multicultural festivals is while at the same time criticizing discriminatory policies is hypocritical? It doesn't work like that.

  • @RZMaslic Holy shit, that's EXACTLY how it works you god damned idiot. If someone says "white power" that's racist, yet if someone says "black power" that's empowering? You don't see the hypocrisy, the racism, and the bigotry in this? If you can't, you're too ignorant and small-minded to see the truth. You think certain groups deserve special treatment because their ancestors were harmed by other people's ancestors. It's an idiotic double-standard.

  • @RZMaslic That's EXACTLY how it works. Are you really so blind? So small-minded? If it's racist for someone to say "white power" then it's also racist for someone to say "black power". If it's bigoted for something to be meant for straights only, then it's bigoted for something to be meant for gay people only. Marriage is a positive thing for straight couples. GLAAD is a positive thing for gays, and gays only. If one's wrong, they're both wrong. Do you get it?

  • @TheRealAkaRai "You're saying, it's not okay for heterosexuals to have any title to themselves..." Heterosexuals=Heterosexuals just as Homosexuals=Homosexuals. If you want to see more events for heterosexuals then find a group of people to start one up. I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) that its your democratic right to do so if you want to start your own rally then get busy.

  • @TheRealAkaRai I'll reply to the rest of your comment later tomorrow.

  • @Brabander87

    A) O'Reilly isn't making a comparison.

    B) It's completely stupid to say one person is representative of an entire country. For example: "Hugo Chavez is such a terrible person! All Venezuelans must love dictatorships... "

  • The US needs to drop a tolerance bomb on itself--for real.

  • When's he going to get murdered already?

  • "this ad won't run in the United States I'll guarantee you that" he said. Yeah, he'll make sure it won't. And if it does he'll condemn it on his show. Comparing gays to Al-Qaeda, what a piece of work. As if gays are on some sort of slippery slope towards extremist conversion through violence and they'll force everyone else to be gay or blow up the White House. Is that what he is implying? What a bigoted ignorant douchebag.

  • If McDonalds had made an ad imploring France's evangelical Christians to "come as they are", with their Bibles and crosses in tow, I'm quite sure O'Reilly & Fox would have been cheering them to the rafters. We would have heard how refreshing it was "to see McDonalds reach out to a marginalized community, especially one visibly wilting under the weight of Islamization and growing tolerance of homosexuality". But in O'Reilly's eyes, McDonalds chose the wrong group. What gut-wrenching hypocrisy!

  • You know, this is really offensive. I don't even know you personally, O'Reilly, and you say those kinds of things about my community? There is no difference between us: we're both human. Who I chose to love and who you chose to love makes up who we are, that's part of our personality. This goes out to everyone else, too. We are all humans, and we're one but not the same. Why do people have to be so cruel and hateful?

  • Oh I hope they play that commercial in the US, just to piss of that arrogant asshole

  • Ambiguous? I think the ad is clear: Even if your dad is completely out of touch with reality, he's still welcome at McDonald's.

And seriously? GLBT people are not terrorists. We aren't trying to 'turn" straight people or make them uncomfortable--we just want to live peaceful lives, without censure, the way straight people do.

  • I think Bill o'Reilly is a sick corporate fascist, but I did not hear him say anything wrong here. The add doesn't have anything tot do with the product, so therefore he is making a point. Bringing Al CIA-DA in is just stupid, but he did not compare the two.

  • @ManustheCaptain Not all ads have to do with the product. Mcdonalds ran an ad showing a daughter all dressed up in a princess outfit eating chicken nuggets with her dad on a father/daughter date. It was cute. But had nothing to do with nuggets.

Also it is one of a larger campaign to "come as you are" showing all walks of life.

I think showing homosexuality in an everyday context is an important way to integrate it into society.

  • @philopnia My point is that i am thankful for the diversity but not if it distracts from the product being sold. They could have shown that the guy was gay in a million and different ways and at the same time advertise a product for McDonalds. Also, whoever said McDonalds does not serve gays, blacks, or etc. I don't know if you are gay or black but if are and this commercial never exist would still go eat at McDonalds or would not because you never seen a commercial advertising to you.

  • Fox sucks, McDonald's sucks, and we suck for letting people talk like this on our airways.

  • I "guarantee that will not run here". How awful. How hurtful a comment.

  • Oh come on, he made a joke about selling burger s with a political statement, and when she said they're reaching out to everyone, he asked if that included Al Qaeda, to point out they're not literally reaching out to everyone. I would hardly take this as "OReilly compares gays to Al Qaeda".

  • @MACpro58 you have a good point. that's not the part that angers me it's how he spoke for the nation and said it would not run here. that should be up to mc'donalds not him. btw i thought the commercial was cute and sweet and moderatley effective.

  • Scarry that this guy gets any airtime at all.

He doesn't really wanna know why they made the add like this. He already made up his mind.
