  • That water scene at the stair case looks fun and all, but still seems a bit dangerous. Were the guys stunt artists or good swimmers? lol

  • I would never do this!!

  • The things I would do to be an extra in a movie like this XD it would be amazing!! But but it wouldn't be amazing if it were the real thing

  • 8:38 that looks fun

  • I don't think the extras really acted in the scene where the stairs get flooded, they genuinely look scared :zp

  • I love the really low male yell from 8:04 to 8:08

  • The way this movie combines so many types of special effects is what makes it so beliveable.

But beacuse its cheaper to CGI the whole thing movies today tend to rely to much on it.

  • Wish I could of been an extra on Titanic, or helped to work backstage.

  • 8:35 Lucky bastards, how fun would that be, but also very dangerous..

  • isn;t it still kind of dangerous to film the scene at 4:28 ?? even though it's acting i mean, it still looks dangerous.

  • muy bello todo estoy enamorada de titanic

  • the whole thing looks both scary and fun.

  • the sliding thing must have been so funn!

  • this would have been the best film to be an extra in! It looks so much fun

  • 10:06 feels like a carnival ride

  • 3:13 THAT IS NOT YOUR COFFEE TABLE AT HOME. THAT IS DISRESPECTUL TO EVERYNE IN THE CREW AND TO TITANIC FANS LIKE ME

  • @peblezQ The movie cost more to make than the R.M.S Titanic did!

  • I heard at one point Kate Winslet almost drowned.

  • @jakeandheath4ever that's true! when kate and leo were filming the scene where they get stuck behind the gates and the dude drops the key, their was a safety hatch above them with someone behind it ready to pull them out! at one point, it got stuck and kate started to freak out and couldn't get it to open, so they had to break it open to get them out! scary!!!

  • LMAO 7:08: "the idea is to create the illusion of danger but having it safe" *stuntman crashes into pole*

  • This is just brilliant! Their genius tickles my brain! I'm in awe!

  • That was really cool, watching how they made the movie! I wonder how much money that cost... BUT IT WAS DEFS WORTH IT!

  • I love it when James says... "ACTION!" and everybody starts screaming, and splatting in the water, then he says.."CUT!" And everybody just stops to take a breath or watever..lol, thats acting

  • Does anyone know when the interviews and things like that were shot? Because he mentioned how they did things like that back in 97, and the actors and actresses all have aged and changed their looks.

  • i think john landau has a good personality! i love leo in this movie!! i love kate too and i wish they could get marry somedayª

  • This is amazing how they made this movie, Just wow!

  • Kate winslet was fine in this movie

  • haha it would be hilarious if somebody did a backflip or gainer off the ship.

  • I'm confused. Was the water tank set interior or exterior.

  • i bet jumping off the ship was fun! lucky!!!

  • @cookiesfun20 yeah, but probably cold xD

  • @cookiesfun20 Bet it wasn't in 1912

  • i saw people dancing 1:04 (near white stuff) while everybody is running.. LOL

enjoying while the ship is sinking? ^_^

  • Dome scene was probably one of the most epic parts of the movie. They got it perfect.

  • 4:29 -- That is just chaotic. Good lord...

  • The sliding down the ship scene looks so FRICKIN fun! :D Lucky people!

  • 6:46 THAT WAS BEAST ! xD

  • sliding down that thing looks so fun lol

  • Simply amazing.

  • Thumbs up if you would wanna be a stunt person for this movie...

  • everybody acting like idiots lol xD!

  • The water scene looks kinda scary 4:26-4:45 o.o

  • Comment removed

  • lol keep pressing 1:13 and he says f*** is at the s***

  • I wonder if anyone died on set... o.o

  • @SunnyandSky i hope not.

  • wow that stair case scene is no joke.. :O

  • 8:11 i would be an extra for free if i could do that, that looks like so much fun

  • haha..poop deck

  • It's crazy how much effort and creativity went into making the effects for this film.

  • is there more?

  • at 3:44 - 3:47 it sounds like barking dog

  • how didnt people actualy drown at 4 minnuts onward the water came up realy fast

  • at 5:34 i always thought that that was cgi. That is soo neat.

  • I hate seeing Jack die

  • I can imagine being an extra and shooting the sinking scene and getting caught up in the drama, but then you hear "cut" and its like you automatically stop being frightened, turn to the next person and be all like, "so what are you having for dinner tonight?"

  • @blckbooty lmbo, i know right

  • knowing how it all worked just makes this movie all the better :)

  • when i watch this. i always think. that JAMES CAMERON is a GENIUS! \m/ i mean, how can they pull off this effects? and how much money did they use? this is the movie of all time! :D \m/

  • the water scenes look so fun to film and be apart of!

  • i love watching this kind of stuff, its so interesting! thanks for posting :)

  • All water theme parks in the world should include Titanic Sinking Experience theme!

  • lets hear it for the stunt team! really that takes serious balls!

  • lets hear it for the stunt team! really!

  • Titanic is what a legend means.

    Always go on!

  • THAT is dedication.

  • that was amazing...the acting is really good!

  • looks soo fun to be an actor... :')

  • couldn't they just have made the water more like 80-90 degrees?

  • @100flobby You know how much water they had to use? Then to heat it? That would be sooo expensive and unnecessary. They also may have wanted it cold for the actors so it's easier to portray them freezing, when they really are. lol

  • @lmfaoxx then they would get sick.who would act then??

  • Can;t w8 to watch Titanic in 3D...^^

  • And the scene they shot at 5:01 was one of my favorites because of how they shot it. That's a very clever and creative way to shoot it.

  • I know it was supposed to be scary and chaotic, but that actually sounds like it was a blast. Running around the set, screaming and sliding down the slanted decks.

  • wow that was fucking a lot of water, amazing film!,i want now to see avatar production so i can compare, buti cant believe something can be more amazing i mean look at 4:32-36!

  • A real work of art

  • everyone is screaming! "AHHHHH!!!" "AHH WATER!!!"

  • Leo <3

  • this is amazing! movies arent made like this anymore. My respect for these people and this movie went up a million percent.

  • I bet that if I now watch the movie again (knowing how it was made), I will still feel that emotion I felt the first time I saw it. Incredibly well made!

  • oh my God they really made Titanic again! just because of the movie! cool! I adore this movie.! I indescribably love this movie..!

  • OMG I want Billy Zane and Leonardo <3

  • 1:07 I didnt get that part cause my english isnt that good. But did this people really jump down from that ship?

  • @HelloShitti yes, some parts were deep in that pool so that some poeple could jump byt the rest of the pool was about knee high

  • @HelloShitti Yes they did. The ship was only tilted a little, so people didn't get hurt. It was effects to make it look more tilted than it actually was.

  • 5:36 LOL and I tought that scene was SOOO freakkknnn Awesomee now I know how it was made blahhhh ;) LOL

  • it's crazy how much work went into this!

  • james cameron is like intense when he directs lol

  • O_O AT 01:13-01:15 YOU CAN SEE A MAN'S SHADOW ON THE 3rd FUNNEL!!! :O

  • @eyesk8ter ....i saw that too. Creeeepy.......

  • @eyesk8ter indeed:) And then there was light LOL

  • @eyesk8ter your point?..... It's just a shadow...

  • @eyesk8ter AFTER THE DIRECTOR OR DESIGNER OF COMPUTING CORRECT THE SHADOW!!!

  • did they used real ship and where are they shooting ocean ,sea, or swimming pool??????????????

  • @santabir A sound set, they poured water into the soud stage and caused the ship to sink.

  • @santabir didnt you watchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • i would love to be one of the stunt people :D

  • jeez...that looks really scary, all that water comin at ya. Have a lot of respect for these people now..

  • The amount of creativity and capturing all the detail never fails to amaze me. Every cast and crew worked so hard on this movie. It amazes me !!!!

  • The problem now is that we are too reliant on CGI etc.. so movies no longer try to make real sets.

Titanic and The Lord of the Rings are probably the last films of that era to make enormous epic sets.

  • throughout this whole thing they kept saying "back when we filmed this" and stuff, was this like completely put together with interviews and stuff a few years after? but anyway, i would have loved to be in this movie. the amount of DETAIL they put into it is unbelievable!!! :)

  • @bookworm7894 I think they did the interviews when they were making the dvd. back then there were only vhs tapes so they hardly filmed anything other than the actual movie, cause why would they need it? youtube didnt exsist back then, neither did extra material or bloopers.

  • @ecstasyecs AAAHH, good point. you're probably right. (:

  • That scene with the 'dome' at 4:18 actually looked like it would be quite scary for the extras to film D: But i guess actually fearing for your life just means a better shot!

  • WHY the fuck is JAMES CAMERON always sticking his nose in ordering ppl around and he is in every part of this fucing documbentry sic of the sight of him ... who the fuck dose he think he is at all !

  • @swayzeekez the director...maybe

  • @swayzeekez ...he's the director.

  • @swayzeekez the director. who did you think directed the movie

  • @swayzeekez the director does more to the movie than the producer does, he knows about every part of the movie so why wouldnt he be the one talking about it the most?

  • @ecstasyecs the director essentially does it all except for acting. he pulls everything together and makes sure everything is going as planned. that's why sometimes they say the director "helms" the movie. the producers are a major part too. if it weren't for the producers there would be no movie. there would only be a script because the producer funds the movie and pays for the equipment and pays the distribution company. all this has to be done to have a movie made properly.

  • @swayzeekez he is the director dumb ass thats what he is supposed to do! this movie wouldn't be half of what it is if he didn't stick his nose in all the time.

  • @swayzeekez You need to calm the fuck down

  • Oh my God.. it's really amazing!

  • Great job, they have done. Nowadays the film sets suck, in the early days sets looked way more interesting. I think there is supposed to be a 7th video. I would like to know how they made the Titanic break off.

  • Warum hat Jack eigentlich keine Rettungsweste?!

    Why Jack has no livejacket?

  • Only after I watch the behind the scenes do I realize exactly how much work and effort was put into making this film. When I was watching the movie I'd never once thought of which part was real and which part was digitally enhanced. Amazing.

  • awsome behind the scenes

  • everything about this movie is genius!!! best movie ever!!

  • Now this is movie magic

  • this doesn't happen anymore. actaul people acting. real sets. everything real. it actaully makes me sad.

  • @pichkari8636 Me too.

  • @pichkari8636 yeah ay im mean the risk of real drowing deaths and shit ay

  • @pichkari8636 Inception

  • lol i loved watching the behind the scenes.. finding out things I never would have realized (i.e the fact that the scenes of the wreck were props with effects added and that they used dummies in the scene with the ship pointing pretty much straight up)

is there another part cause it seems odd to end it just like this o-o

and man.. would have been so fun to be one of the actors no matter which random character i was o-o

  • genius especially the hallway scene

  • fAK BUT NOT GAY rwj!

  • wow...they made it look so real...

  • Thank you soooooo much for posting this!! It was soooo cool!!

  • best movie ever!!! <3

  • also, I THOUGHT THE HALLWAY WAS REAL! wow, that is technology and real talent right there.

  • @SquishyCandyftw its not good technology its good props.

  • @wereallfakingit1 its good technology ^^ did the props do all that camera work? no.

  • This is why Titanic is the best movie ever. It is the most REAL movie ever made. Sure, Avatar was great, but it will never be as real as Titanic.

I think it's funny how James Cameron has made the best realistic movie ever, and the best non-realistic movie (CGI galore) ever, both the most grossed movies of all time. He is amazing.

  • @SquishyCandyftw The Lord of the Rings was almost all real sets and bigatures as they were called, I think those were the only two movies to really have everything real, movies on this epic scale I mean.

  • Nice really nice

  • They changed the angle.. that's brilliant and yet so simple.

  • COOL .

    really really cool....!!!!

  • salute to all the crew and staff of titanic, from utility up to the director...filming titanic or every film was absolutely not easy...my respect for all movie makers.

  • The nxt day after the shooting. 90% of the crew members caught cold XD

  • james cameron with his cheap tricks, they always look real, the crushing of the terminator in the hydrolic in the first terminator movie, the terminator was made of tin foil and the hydrolic press was foam, and the smoke was someone smoking and just blowing the air into screen, bet you'll never look at that screen the same way now, by the way i'd love to do those tilted poop deck scenes

  • the hallway scene, i really thought that's real. niiiceee. :)

  • I always though that hallway scene with water bursting the doors was real, I didn't know it was props. wow, everyone really put a lot of effort into this movie :)

  • amazing!

  • I'm always amazed at the dome implosion scene. I always thought that was all computer generated.

  • as much as the sliding is suppose to be scary...I wonder how many of the cast members had fun during that part o.o

  • it was super creating the movie.

  • that mini hallway technique was genious!!

  • the sad thing about this is that it really happen cuz of man's ego back then. this was an amazing video! it is absolutely crazy what all goe's into making a movie, but in the end it was all worth it. im going to have to watch this movie now!!! thank's for posting this!!!

  • It's amazing to see how they do this.

  • wow, thats seriously hard work!!! wonderful effects! great job!

  • i swear once when i was watching this movie when the ship went down it matched all of the real times it sank. the tv desinged and matched the time so it would match up. 2:10 when the ship started to raise 2:17 when it broke in half and 2:20 when she finally went under. i got goosebumps since u knew that like almost 100 years ago this was rlly happening.

  • Neuvěřitěłně krásne :) Museła bejt sranđa při natáčení.Chuđáci ty łiđi musełi mít z toho natáčení nějaký zlomeniny xĐ Jsem slyšeła,že tam byłi i kaskađéři z Český Repubłiky :)
