@tanaychindia ...It also turns that along the years I've turned towards a more dark/sarcastic/smart/vulgar kind of comedy, i.e., Sarah Silverman, Family Guy, MadTV, etc., and maybe that's why now when I see Friends on TV, only Phoebe is the one that makes me like really laugh (although here character is not specially "dark" or "sarcastic" but I love like the absurdity of her), but that doesn't stop Friends from being a classic in the history of tv comedy shows.

@canucksgo I agree with you about Two and a Half Men, and sort of The Big Bang Theory (though I find its humour less insulting than Two and a Half Men). However, Modern Family is both hilarious, and does not have a laugh track. Glee is currently one of my favourites, but even so I can admit Modern Family has, on the whole, far superior writing, and is genuinely funnier. If you haven't given it a proper shot (and I'd say you haven't if you thought it involves laugh tracks) watch a few episodes.
