The g37 requires a special oil. Ester oil.

Regular synthetic oil is not good enough. The engine will make a tapping noise. I had an Infiniti dealer service man tell me all about it. That Ester oil is very expensive. Don't get me wrong...I like the G37...I have a G35 coupe. Nice cars.

if you arent using synthetic oil you dont know what youre doing. ALWAYS use synthetic oil (Mobil 1) especially on a car like this. i always use it on my g37s and i always will. it will keep the engine in better condition than any other oil will.

@af7721, 100% wrong. Nissan recommends using a specially formulated oil for this engine. it is a petroleum-based oil with special ester additives that are designed to keep the VVEL system quiet and operating properly. Using synthetic oil is not a good idea on this car.

The paddle shifters allows you to go up or down a gear rather than using the gear lever,

and infiniti puts them behind the steering wheel rather than on the wheel so u can actually know if you want to go up or down a gear, rather than the germans do on there bimmers

haha, camera phone yes! Nissan uses the same key fob for all of their vehicles now with the key less ignition/entry. I kinda like the lil soap shaped fob. :)

u cant make the torque equal to the horspower without a supercharger, u have to either make the HP higher or the torque, or (as american cars) make bother the HP nad torque equal with huge engines(mustang GT 4.7L 300HP,300ft.)

Doesn't look like anything revolutionary. I'm kind of disappointed because it already looks old. The interior is like an 06 M35 but with the same old seats of the first generation G35. The exterior has only been modified slightly. Its only saving grace is the new engine, and they probably dumped the old 3.5L into the Altima coupe. I guess we have to wait until it's released

I still like my 2006 Legacy GT better than the G series Infinity. A friend has a G35, and honestly I only like the 4 doors. The two doors are not that comfortable and the blind spots are so big you could hide a HMVEE behind them.

If both were the same price, I would go with the 335i. Whenever I walk by a parked 335 I have to stop and take a look, the design is classic. Both have almost exactly the same performance, so sometimes you have to go by style.
