  • 55 people have no words...

  • If the song "words" and "the First of May" don't move you. then you are stupid, dull, ignorant, meat head. I'll take the Bee Gees over the Beatles any day....

  • Diane please listen to this song it says everything been waiting all this time

    C

  • ....55 corncobs....er...kornkobs?

  • @anonymousrandomtroll Never too old to learn.

I should look at some other songs from Boyzone then?

  • Correction: should be Loudon Wainwright III.

  • @Chicawapa100

I couldn't say it better! Someone who knows how it is :)

  • Words by Andy?

  • vote this if u watching in 2012.

    :D

  • I once bought a Bee Gees single...then I took an arrow to the knee.

  • @spacecowboy7580 I once found fun on this joke... then I don't find it anymore

  • @spacecowboy7580 Maybe this joke lost its fun 2 months ago

  • @spacecowboy7580 Maybe in these years ago you weren't born yet. And we should stop with this stupid discussion here.

  • @spacecowboy7580 Actually you are the village idiot! if you do not like Barry Gibb what are you doing here? you opinion is negated by your intransigent, truculent manner!

  • @spacecowboy7580 What about all the other derisive comments you have made about Barry Gibb? you may not like his falsetto...but clearly millions and millions of other people did, that makes you in the minority..and as this is a Bee Gees forum, you can shove your parochial opinion up your gonga Troll!

  • @spacecowboy7580 The joke is on people like you...they are the 2nd most prolific songwriters in history and the 5th best selling act of all time! Also very generous too..they gave a song to the childrens charity UNICEF which to date has made aprox $10 million dollars and they moniter where the money is spent. Where is that fat simpleton Anderson now ? the Bee Gees will be around forever due to their musical genius...Anderson will be just a footnote in history.

  • @spacecowboy7580 Actually I did read your comments properly...You need an informed opinion before you open your vacuous mouth! Barry Gibb is one of the most humble generous people on this planet! as for not having a sense of humour..everyone who has ever worked with the Bee Gees will tell you, that is the very thing that kept them going, its so obvious to anyone that has seen interviews, apart from rhe one with Anderson. He was rude right from the outset! do your homework!

  • @computerrage The ony thing smaller than your brain ...is your penis

  • @computerrage Actually it was Barry that fed Anderson the line "Le Tossers" get your facts right ...you fucking simpleton!

  • @computerrage You remind me of the womens disease..thrush...an irritating little cunt! your opinion is negated by your lack of knowledge on music, fuck off!

  • @computerrage Or better still are we saying Maurice? you halfwit...run along your puerile drivel has become irksome.

  • Comment removed

  • @spacecowboy7580 You have the IQ of a fucking sunflower, even suggesting that the Bee Gees vocals are flawed, as for Barry Gibb not having a sense of humour..that is pure ignorance, look at the live shows and you will see that is nolt the case. They are known for their zany humour in the music industry. Clive Anderson ripped into them from the word go, he is only interested in getting a laugh regardless of who he upsets, it was supposed to be an interview, he is a fat prick.

  • LET THE TEARS FLOW

  • ONE OF THE BEST SONG, EVER

  • my hot piece of ass Estelle loves this song

  • Love this song..

  • excelente tema

  • questa è una canzone che rappresenta la nostra generazione. quella che negli anni sessanta era giovane. è una parte del nostro cuore

    augh

  • Till a few days ago, I thought that Boyzone actually wrote this song( I know I'm stupid ), and I hated myself for the fact, that I loved a song and it's written by Boyzone. I just couldn't believe that Boyzone could actually write such an amazing song. Then, I found out that it's actually a Bee Gees song. Now I can die in peace.

  • @anonymousrandomtroll jajajaja tienes razon aora podremos morir en paz.

  • @anonymousrandomtroll Want to know something funny?

I don't know who "Boyzone" is.

But I was there 40 years ago with the Bee Gees.

  • @MultiBert07 You sir, are one lucky person. One, you don't know Boyzone. That's a privilege not many people of today's generation have, and two, well, you were there with the greats themselves. I can only imagine what that would be like....

  • @anonymousrandomtroll May I answer this with words of Loudon Wainwright II?

I was "Down drankin' at the bar". So I do not really remember that much of the time.

It IS a nice song though. Always has been.

As so many of my eara, I became an alcoholic and still am.

    My memory fades.

But I still now the song.

You must be young, not knowing that this was a Bee Gee Song.

On the other hand: I still don't know Boyzone.

    I'll look it up.

  • @anonymousrandomtroll Found Boyzone. Rather nice (No matter what). Like it.

  • @MultiBert07 Well yes, you got that right, I am young. And about that Boyzone song you found (No matter what), well sir, once again, it is NOT a Boyzone song. It's from a musical 'Whistle Down the Wind' by Andrew Lloyd Webber, just covered by Boyzone.

  • @anonymousrandomtroll Any suggestions?

And please, do not call me "Sir" anymore. I understand that it is just you being polite (thanks for that) but it makes me feel uncomfortable.

    Bert will do.

  • @anonymousrandomtroll Just listened to "Words" from Boyzone. Not that bad a cover really. I've heard very much worst covers. This one can pass.

But Bee Gees is better though.

  • @MultiBert07 Haha allright, I'll call you Bert. And I didn't say that Boyzone covers are bad, it's just that, they just copy a great song, make a cover, and get popular. That's why I don't like them. They are not original.

And one more thing. If I were you, I'd forget about Boyzone.

  • @anonymousrandomtroll I already forgot about them because I indeed did not find anything original.

Mind you, if you find something being good music, you are always welcome to share.

    I'm a "folky" myself.

    Fingerpicking ragtime and blues style.

But except for "House" and "Techno", I like almost everything concerning music.

Just 2 hours ago I was listening to "Carmina Burana" from Carl Orff.

  • @anonymousrandomtroll This is by far the most hilarious comment I´ve ever read! ;)

  • @anonymousrandomtroll So pleased that you've found some truth at last. Bee Gees wrote some beautiful songs. Boyzone couldn't write a shopping list.

  • @trammix Well they could. They would just copy the shopping list of Beatles.

  • @anonymousrandomtroll Boyzone???? Go sit in the corner and think about what you've done.

  • @OftenMisled Trust me, I have thought A LOT.

  • Im 15 and i love this song.

  • Who the Fuck Haters dislike this OMFG :X

  • @bratal2 trolls. And they will keep doing it as long as they see stupid comment about likes and dislikes like yours.

  • @totyny1

    I wish everyone would realise...

  • Shit this song is so wonderful!!

  • GREAT song ABSOLUTELY !

  • this word make me strip on romance melody

  • 我爱我自己 我的灵魂正在追逐着我自己 为了要达至合一!

  • As far as I'm concerned their lyrics are right up there with Shakespeare. Their songs have been there all through my life (yes, I'm that old!) and I am so glad of it.

  • I love the beegees

    They are amazing

  • I love the beegees

  • Words were the Bee Gees greatest bar none!

  • I remember this song--did someone else sing it, too?

  • @lifevorce This was before their disco days--it was them--

  • Comment removed

  • I think the Bee Gee's are just as geat as the Beatles. They are mostly associated with the Disco area. Some of their songs are just beyond, beyond passionate.

    Love Them, Love Them

  • @MrAllthru To be 100% honest I have to say I've enjoyed Bee-Gees songs 80% more than Beatles songs. "Yesterday" can compete with "I started a joke" but what do Beatles have that can compete with "Night Fever" or "Staying Alive"?

  • @Hesam0000 The Beatles weren't around for the Disco era, so it doesn't make sense to be comparing their music (recorded in the '60s) to music that came ten years later.

  • @sapphiretaurus Disco didn't make "Night Fever" great, "Night Fever" made disco great. I was talking about the quality and fun-factor. Beatles were together till 1970 & they were in America. Still to me ABBA is #1 among bands as far as quality. Beatles are 5th or 6th.

  • @Hesam0000 The Beatls broke up in late 1969. John Lennon left the band at that time, and told the others not to say anything just yet. They thought he would come back, then Paul McCartney announced he was leaving in April of 1970. They did not record any original music or covers in 1970, and the Beatles were from England, not America. They were based in London and lived there.

  • @sapphiretaurus I know where they're from, not born yesterday :) I wrote "They were in America", I meant they were exposed to early disco era in America. But again disco has nothing to do with the bands and the quality of their music. Simon & garfunkle sang the greatest song in history 'Bridge Over Troubled Water" in 1970. Quality, feeling and fun-factor were not only present in disco years.

  • @Hesam0000 I agree with you I like the Beatles but I love love the Bee Gees!

  • i wish they were still together

  • @trickeyanne THEY ARE THEY'RE DOING A SHOW NEXT MONTH IN PARIS

  • @aidaahk OMG

  • i want to kiss him! how much of a miracle can you get..this is yummy.

  • Beautiful ~~ love this song~~

  • Inelegant is a word that I wish didn't exist, and the negativity that it indicates....this song goes way beyond words...and I'm happy for that.

  • how can you guys be angry while listen to this song ?? :)

  • I hate it how the the top comments don't have anything to do with the song.

JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP AND ENJOY THE MUSIC!!!!

    Long live, Bee Gees!

  • @22v68 I dont think anyone has been vile to you at all, this is just you tube, what harm has been done to you? option 1 switch off option 2 go to another forum option 3 refuse to become involved, if you give...you have to learn to take, simple as....

  • Comment removed

  • @22v68 It also was not your argument either, but you chose to join in and argue with the other people, you are not responsible for their actions, they are, you simply cannot tell people how to behave on you tube, you do not have the right to do that! So perhaps you should practice what you preach about starting on people, you have no authority to decide what people do or do not write, only the individual can make that choice and what goes around comes around.
