  • Is Bobby McFerrin making all those sounds?

  • I thought this was open sesame street :(

  • YEAH!! I've been looking for this clip for years!! I LOVE the little paints and bouncy ball part!

  • When did they stop using pull-tabs (like at :04) for soda cans?

  • Ha ha! I remember being scared shitless when the door opened.

It's funny how the smallest, most trivial things can terrify children. Just the fact that it's a dark room behind that door caused my imagination to infer that some kind of evil force was at work.

  • I love the sounds that are made when things are being opened. Lol!

  • At 42 seconds do you think it was a good Idea to teach kids to eat from dirty hands. Her hands were filthy!

  • does open mean handling with hands? Or is it just folding and bending stuff?

  • I do not know... if the kid know how to read OPEN then he knows what open is... Unless he is a child with ESL. (And no, that is not a disease)

  • @izayus11

No, ESL means English as a Second Language, and it applies to foreigners from different countries who speak a language other than English.

  • 0:03 is the best part all the way to the end

  • The opening of that door... SCARY!!!

  • LOL Totally forgot about this one. I hope that's not a "Happy Fun Ball" at 0:30. XD

  • The girl at the end looks like a young Ann Coulter. For what that's worth.

  • She looks more like Maria Sharapova.

  • I remember making that sound when I opened my crayons in Kindergarten. LOL I was such an impressionable little kid.

  • You know what? I think I remember making that sound when I was unwrapping a package one time.

  • EGGS go BUCK BOAM

    the package haliaus w noises

  • tHE SOUND EFFECT at 0:44 kind of sounded like Kermit.

  • Wow! Haven't seen this in years! I remember when cans used to open like that. That leftover piece of metal was deadly.

  • Oh my god I totally remember this one. The girl with the peppermint at the end is in one of the "three of these tihngs" sketches hanging upside down while the other three are just standing there.

  • the sound effects made in this reminded me of the one guy from Police Academy..the one witch did all the sound effects.

  • I was thinking the same thing!!

  • Wonder whaddever happened to that guy? He was pretty good, and the sounds were no end of fun.

  • Larynxa did the vocal effects.

  • LoL they kind of made a sound like they were salivating while opening the paste. No wonder so many kids eat paste.

  • I too remember the silly sound effects in this video. There are similar ones in "T for toes" skit. Anyone remember the "same / different" skit with two people dressed as character boxes? Sticking things on one another? Anyone have that skit?

  • I remember this - the part with the FUN BALL seems to 'stick with me' the most because of the strange sound. I guess it's just part of all the wackiness I remember (fondly, that is) when I saw Sesame Street in the 1970's.

  • I loved the sound effect for that one! Priceless!

  • hey ...whats a fun ball? lol :P

  • @VNVgirl A ball of fun! lol :P

  • @TomTheDiameter i want one then! :P

  • @VNVgirl Me too! :P

  • That girl looks a bit like the one in the round film who blowa a bubble and the end of it.

  • It's Happy Fun Ball

  • The Goof-ball's voice is the best part! The eggs--Bum!, and the present BWABUSWABAPIBA,are my favorites.

  • You found it! You are my hero!

  • LOL'ed at the present sound effect.

  • My favorite was always the eggs (*click* booammm!) Great clip!

  • It's funny...I've opened many egg cartons and none of them ever made that sound! lol

  • Me too!

  • One thing always bothered me about this.. When the bottle of Root Beer is opened, it looks like the bottle cap falls INTO the bottle, which should be impossible. Just my eyes tricking me I guess.

  • I think it slid along the outside, against the neck. If you look carefully you'll see what I mean.

  • Haven't seen this one since kindergarten...thanks for the memories, as the song goes!

  • I always loved the sound effects in this clip!
