People can call Him Yahushuah all day long, but if they don't believe that He walked on water, they might as well call Him Bob. The issue is doctrine and faith, not the name. I call Jesus "Brother" and God "Father". Is that Their names? No. Is that who They are to me? Absolutely. Jesus can be just a wrong name to you, and Yahushuah can be a perfect name. We have hope even on life's darkest days because of God's promises. Jesus kept His promise to rise from the grave, and surely He will keep every promise! The entire Bible is one giant letter, promising us God's best if we will follow Him. Verse by verse tells us of God's love and blessing on those who obey His will.
While other promises may fade and other people will let us down, God will never let us down. His promises are secure and we will never be disappointed by believing Him.

The rules and punishments described in the Bible, as with the attitudes towards women and other such social conditions were written in order to be relevant to the society at the time. The Bible was written thousands of years ago and therefore had to be understood (both in physical and metaphysical subject matter) by the society of the time.

While religious beliefs are faith-based & therefore don't need empirical evidence to support, as time goes on, more and more scientific evidence surfaces to support the historical accuracy of the Bible. If the Bible continues to be proven true (from a non-Christian, scientific aspect), then why would you let your pride get in the way of confessing the fact you are a sinner?

You do realize that the Bible was written in Greek, because at the time, that's what the majority of the world spoke, translated from Greek to Hebrew Jesus is Yeshua or Joshua. People can call Him Yahushuah all day long, but if they don't believe that He walked on water, they might as well call Him Bob. The issue is doctrine and faith, not the name.
