My favorite on Pinwheel! I vaugley remember looking for a book on Emily- does anyone know if there is a book based on this/ this was based on? TV sure not like what it used to be... miss Nickelodean from the early 80's..... (I didn't have cable- only got it at babysitter's or grandparent's house)...

Damn shame. I just described myself. I got a soft spot for this stuff. WHAT??? lol. Simpler times the 80s were. Well, I was a kid and unaware of what was really going on. And Pinwheel helped to keep me oblivious for a lil' while.

FANTASTIC! The posts here have summed it up perfectly. This song brings back so many great memories of '81-'82 Pinwheel days. Weekends when I was 7 and 8 weren't complete without these cartoons. To be a kid again...

A million thanks! Brings some very warm memories to my mind. I loved Emily (and so did my brothers). We would sing the song, but never got the part about the red dress, red shoes and red hat (green gloves) right. So nice to hear it with adult ears and finally have the correct words.
