I'm only 16 and this is my kind of music, touches my heart. I grew up will classic old country and I'll never stop loving it. My grandfather always told me that music is just words that flow from you soul when you can't say the words yourself. I will always love him for that.
I heard Mark Chestnutt sing this song at Six Flags over Texas in Arlington when he played there in the 90s. I also heard him sing "I'll think of Something" before it came out on CD at a live concert as well. It’s kind of nice for an artist to let you hear new music before everyone else does when you actually go and see them.
May I ask who introduced to the country music?, My Mom listened to the radio back in the 40'sI learned to listen to Kitty Wells, Hank W Sr. I lived in the best era of Country Music. I love Mark Chestnutt , he has a great voice and good music. Thanks for posting this song I had never heard it . God Bless
@bassingal44 I'm 15 now but i remember a lot of songs, but one i remember real well is "paint me a birmingham" by Tracy Lawrence. I was only about 6 or 7 but i remember him pickin me up then us going back to our house in the country. My mom hated country but me and my dad did tractor pulls and stuff like that so i got introduced to it early luckily. unfortunantly my dad doesn't act the same as he used to though, wish i could get him back lol.
@skatahkickflip first song i remember was Dont take her she's all i've got, i'm 17 now. My dad introduced to me all the music i listen to, from Hank Jr to johnny paycheck, to Merle to Alan Jackson and Toby Keith
Great song, I get this feeling more often than I'd like to admit but completely forgetting a past love is next to impossible, especially a first love. Desiree you will always have a special place in my heart, even if I don't want to admit it
I just wanted yall 2 no sometimes driving home at night I let ur memory take control & yall are sitting by my side-- la la la la -- love my children & grandchildren-- I miss yall and love you heart & soul
country music artist of the 90s sang from thier heart. They put feeling into thier songs. Now days these artist are forgotten about. Todays country music is all about being number one and putting out albums as fast as they can. They dont sing from the heart. 1990s country will forever be missed. Thank you Mark Chestnutt, Garth Brooks, George Strait, Paul Brandt, Brian White, David Kersh, Mark Wills, Keith Whitley, Trisha Yearwood, Kathy Mattea, Pam Tillis, The Judds, Reba, Your 4ever the best!!
@gbroncos84 Amen so true i am getting sick of certain bands and artist either saying they are country or 14 year old kids think that country is what/how Taylor Swift sings about etc...they don't understand what country really is and what it is about. The singers of the 90's are the Real thing!!!
One of Mark Chesnutt's best songs I sure wish he would get more recognition for the great singer and performer that he is. This song is from one of my favorite era's in country music.
I would like you to know I love old country music, mark Chesnutt as that in him ole country
sound....wish I were in the year 1970's again, darn my fatheruse to say never get old , it's hell but mother nature has a different opinion of life...but all is good with all these videos
by yhe way i'm 25 and love the music from about 98 and back not much for the newer music it's a buntch of crap though i think randy rodgers band and jack green have some good songs
@68superchevy396 i dissagree i think from 99 on thru 1984 was teh best
IM 15 n i hate that piece of shit new teenie bob crap music but i love tracy lawrence i love mark collie mark chestnutt goerge strait alan jackson john anderson wade hayes john conlee aaron tippin vern gosdin mel mc daniel both hank williams the judds vince gill waylon jennings gary allan conway twitty and thats really it

I only listen to country before 1998, too.
That new stuff is awful. It seems that without the steel guitar, there is nothing.
I don't listen to the new "Kunt-tree" stations.
If I want country, put in a CD or watch Youtube.
Thanks to you all that put these great songs on here.
