This was the final straw when I stopped watching WCW on a regular basis. I can understand the reasoning behind the Goldberg push...but why the hell sacrifice what could have been the top tag team in WCW at that time? I really liked the team of the two Brians...they should have been given a chance with the fans. I cannot believe that any fan would have bought into Goldberg beating these two guys. Give it to Kronik, they did the J-O-B with a professional attitude. Hated Goldberg after this.

I liked mark madden. He was the best color guy in the business in a long time. King was the best but Madden was the best option available outside of Jerry the King at this time. Yet tna hires the reject announcers that have 0 charisma and delivery. It's one of the reasons I don't watch it, the announcing is so bad. They could have hired Joey Styles for play by play and Madden for color commentating but the got tenay and that other loser. Ughh. Anyway Goldberg was ok not great but could wrestle.

@RMilvae I loved heenan. He was pretty well retired by the time Madden started. He is a bit on in the years at this point. Heenan was the only good announcer they had until Madden to be honest.

Kronik could have really gotten over if WCW used them right, Jobbing to Goldberg in a handicap match makes them look really bad.. That would never happen with the Roadwarriors..
