  • I can see that in her eyes she's pissed off

  • Looks to me like shes pissed and doesn't want you picking her up right now.

  • she looks like she's crying soo cute

  • mine does tht lolz

  • bless you

  • maby your heddgie is quilling its when they loose their baby quills and grow their adult ones it can sometimes can be quite painful):

  • She would be a good kick boxer. She has such quick kicks, and she breathes out with each one. A kick boxer to be.

  • shes like die die die die die

  • Hedgie used SPIKEY BALL. It was super effective!

  • Normally when I find a wild one, I pick them of the road and put them into the grass or something. But even the wild ones are quite timid, I never encountered a Rocky Balboa sonic.

  • Sonic !! :D

  • ugh mines just like that except in a full ball -.-"

  • awww, i used to have a hedgehog, we called him hedgegrove :P, sadly i couldnt really handle him alot, first time i did he did alot of huffing, and jabbed me with his quills, about an hour afterward, my hand swelled up to three times its normal size, my wrist and arm swelled up a bit too but not as much as my hand, folks were scared out of their mind i was gonna stop breathing so i ended up spending that night in hospital, wasnt until he was more used to handling that i got to pick him up again

  • @rhino2960 I'm sorry but this is hilarious

  • @CailinAdair turns out one of his quills punctured my skin and i had an allergic reaction, second time i handled him was the last, it sucked big time, he was such a cutie

  • This is funny. I've seen it a few times now. I also like her name. I saw in another video where you got it from, and considered reading the book once I read about it. Though I am glad you used the name for a female, rather than a male as it was in the book. Definitely more suiting.

I also agree with Beatnikzombie, despite what she's trying to achieve, this is just cute. Which is why defense mechanisms often can be when coming from cute critters. Like a sugarglider crabbing! Cute and hilarious.

  • Dude you must torcher that thing kuz they are not supposed to do that if you take care of them correctly

  • @Irishbl00d4696 Actually no, they can be like that with the best of care, depends on their personality. From the way this guy is acting, he's just being grumpy, I have a female who no matter how much time I've spent is utterly anti-social due to not being handled by her original owners as a baby and constantly hisses and pops at me when being handled like the above hedgie.

  • @MassenaCenter315 Mine is the same way, but its usually because someone along the line treated them badly..... >.> my girl freddy is starting to come around though. Less hissies more kissies :)

  • @Irishbl00d4696 They still do it if you take care of them perfectly well. They are just moody creatures.

  • dude you must really have numb hands to be able to hold her balled up.

  • Sounds like she is saying I DON'T WANT TO BE ON CANDID CAMERA!!!!!

So cute.... Must be HMS instead of PMS...LOL!

  • I have no idea why but cranky animals always make me laugh. I'm not laughing at their discomfort but at the results it produces. Yona's rage is hilarious.

  • practictin spin dash

  • i love how everyone's hedgehog seems to be a hot head but my own. lupin has never bitten me or huffed like that since she got use to me xD

  • hedgies are so cute even when angry

  • XD My hedgie does that all the time. She's been my pet for almost a year, but she's very cranky. She's used to being handled but when I awake her o make a big noise, she gets all defensive and huffing XD.

A coulple of times she bite me, but I don't think she did it because she was upset or scared... She was just "tasting" my finger :P

  • im thinking about getting one and i want to know why they do that what could you do that would make them that mad?

  • @iommi0 Well.. it's not only about mad. It's mostly about scared. They feel like you're threatning them. You don't really do anything bad. Unless, you're physically hurting them, then there's a reason for them to do that. Ask me anything about them, and I might know the answer.

  • not much sum hedgys just do that and sum never rarly get mad. just depends really

  • My hedgehog did that every time anyone tried to touch her or hold her, no matter how gently. She was defensive and territorial, not a very good pet, but great for making sure my room was the only one in the whole apartment building that didn't have a cockroach problem.

  • They're naturally defensive animals that hide a lot. Very shy in nature. It's very easy to annoy them. They're primadonnas LOL.

  • "LET ME BOX! LET ME BOX! DX" lol

  • aww, it's like she's saying "let me at 'em, let me at 'em!"

  • its almost like she's a boxer trying to hit someone in a match.

  • heh i think it hates the camera XD

  • Cute even when crabby.

  • does it hurt when she's huffing and rolling lyk that in your hand?

  • Not if you hold her correctly, but she IS trying to poke you when she's flexing like that. : )

  • i felt it once, its like a cactus, and then once it relizes you wont hurt it feels better

    :)

  • ive never been able to hold mine like that. i can with a cloth but not in my hand lol. that is one ANGRY hedgehog lolol

  • @countingonjack yes it hurts alot

  • Hahah! Man she must've been having a great dream or something to get this upset! Is she normally good tempered?

  • Haha she was dreaming she was playing the slots in Vegas, won the jackpot and tons of mealworms were pouring out of it.

  • Id hate to run into him in a dark alley.

  • haha XDD shes like wyfffffffff dont wake me up bitch!

  • Yona = Chun-li in hedgehog form.

  • looks like it's trying to kick sand in your face but there no sand.

  • They have two very pointy upper teeth, and can bite surprisingly hard. I've even had blood drawn a couple of times. She doesn't bite very often, and it's usually my own fault when she does.

  • @GodsAlgorithm My hedgie bit me the other day, of course it was my fault too, I thought I saw something on her, and was rubbing her quills the wrong way. Oh well it's what I get for being a worry wart. It was sore for a day, and no blood was drawn. They only time I get hurt when they huff though is while I'm trying to pick her up.

  • to hedgehogs have sharp teeth? do the bite hard?
