  • If someone is against gay rights try to have them prove gays aren't human, because cleary they never will be able to.

Be all man is created equal so if they are human they deserve equal rights, so if you want them to have less prove they aren't human which you can't.

  • what the fuck, the ad thought I was from Brazil? I'm Dutch..

  • SO glad to see that another network was/is willing to put Cenk and Keith Olbermann back on the air -- MSNBC was walking the walk for a while, but caved in and sent packing two of its stellar personalities. I still watch MSNBC, but will never again consider that network a strong voice for creative thought.

  • Do not open your mouth in front of a Religious Rightist, they will put their eggs down your throat...

  • Yeah, you liberals think you're making progress, but really soon everyone is going to realize that your democratic party is full of just as much shit if not more than the fucking republicans. Nice try, Libtards, but guess what, you can talk all the shit you like about the stupidity of religion, but it's not going to turn you into moral humanists. You can't approve and promote the abortion of 50 million babies, a literal genocide, and then try to come across as ethical. Go FUCK yourselves...

  • @melbyRick

I wish your mom had committed genocide. :P Have a nice day.

  • @INatalkaI You can wish all you like, just like you wish for some naive utopia where all of your wants and needs are provided for by the government, and you're told what to do every minute of your life. Oh, and don't be too quick to say that you wish for my non-existence; without my tax money you fucking liberal retards would have a hard time pushing your agenda without someone to steal from. I think you'd all starve to death in a few weeks, if you didn't cut each other's throats first.

  • @melbyRick We've realized the Democrats are not the Liberal Party they want us to believe they are. But your Neo-Conservative empire has almost died.

Also there is a reason most Scientists are Liberals AND Atheists...

  • @leegeorgeson "you Neo-Conservative empire"... you obviously don't know who you're talking to; I'm Libertarian, not a Neo-Con. And Of course the Democrats let you down; they were never intended to do anything for you; they only exist for the purpose of antagonizing the right-wing, which is made up of all the fundamentalist Christians who are the ones that fight all the wars and do all the violent government work. The Democrats and welfare only exist to ruin the society.

  • @melbyRick Look up the big "Scary" Social democracies in northern Europe and then come talk to me. They are the ONLY countries that don't torture people or leave their veterans and poor people to ROT.

  • @leegeorgeson

Most of Europe sucks; Sweden sucks, Norway is oil-rich, Denmark's economy is freer than America's, most self-professed socialist countries are either non-existent (because they collapsed) or are just as capitalist if not more capitalist than America today, and their economic models have nothing to do with whether they torture people.

  • @casualdissent Wow. I guess you wouldn't be a conservative if you weren't completely stupid...

  • @leegeorgeson I'm not a conservative. Nothing I've said has indicated otherwise.

  • @leegeorgeson Yeah well they also have a 99% indigenous homogenous population, and their populations are at zero growth rate or even negative growth rates. Plus, when is the last time they ever had a war? WWII for most of them. Unlike America which has at least one war every 5-10 years, massive immigration and high birthrates, millions of people receiving welfare or other government benefits. You think that is sustainable? There's no basis for your argument. You don't know...

  • @melbyRick The world is looking forward to America's self destruction. Better learn to use chopsticks...

  • @leegeorgeson Meh; Chopsticks are easy. Besides, just because America will eventually collapse, you think that means that the Chinese of all people will take over? In your dreams, pal. Without us buying their shit, they wouldn't even have an economy, and their government is just as hated and feared by their people as our Government is by everyone else. Plus, with us out of the way, Russia will definitely invade them like they wanted to do decades ago. Nobody is gonna be safe...

  • @melbyRick LOL you think there are more government services per GDP in the U.S. than China?! And did you seriously call China an indigenous homogenous population? Yeah I guess when your ancestors ethnically cleansed their neighbors in a campaign of annexation and island hoping you suddenly become the indigenous population eh? No modern countries are ruled by inigenous populations. P.S. creating a policy that has lead to the murder of millions of baby girls in China isn't something to be proud of

  • I was under the impression that a hungover Zeus had pulled up his floral-print dress one day and crapped the religious right into existence.

At least that's how it was told in The Holy Book of Robocop.

  • So... how do we kill it?

  • @TheSkunkCat Take away their kids and teach their kids to question authority.

If the new generations cannot be converted, the beast dies...

  • @leegeorgeson "teach their kids to question authority"

But not the authority that took them away from their parents?

  • @casualdissent Nope their too. :)

But Religious parents ABUSE their children. They should have their children taken away.

  • @leegeorgeson According to..?

  • @casualdissent Richard Dawkins for starters but also the percentage of Child Welfare cases, most of them are due to religious fundamentalists as well as drug addicts. I would advise doing your own research if you don't believe me. For example THREE of the top FIVE most violent cities are in Pious Texas. And the Middle East is UNBELIEVABLY violent...

  • @leegeorgeson I mean, who says they should have their children taken away? And the Middle East is only violent because it's been occupied by western countries for the past century.

  • @casualdissent NO.

Seriously READ THE KORAN. Mohammed is a murderer, a pedophile and a bandit.

I grant you the Western Colonials have made it worse, but to assume that Muslims are not responsible for their own violence is just racist and naive.

Seriously Read the Koran. There is TONS of stuff in there that says to Make WAR on Infidels. The penalty for Apostasy is DEATH and women who are RAPED are forced to MARRY the man who raped them or they are stoned to death.

    Islam is atrocious.

  • @leegeorgeson Mohammed is a murderous pedophile? I don't know much about the Qur'an, but I really don't care. His actions don't reflect the actions of people who follow Islam, just as Jesus' supposedly being a good person obviously doesn't mean that all of the religious right are good people too. I've also read tonnes of quotes from the Qur'an (out of the actual book, not online) that contradict what you're telling me here.

  • great another dumb turk production, leaving

  • Imbeciles lying for jesus are better known around the world as christians. If you see one please don't stare. This makes them even more unstable

  • if you don't like living in a Judeo- Christian nation, hit the border and don't even think of looking back. try sweden

  • @mrtadreamer What do you think Sweden is dork? It's Christian, just an intelligent responsible type that the Christian Evangelical extremists in the US will never understand.

  • @nater2121 like i said, if you don't like it here, get out.

  • @mrtadreamer

The only thing I don't like are all the idiots.

Why don't you do us all a favor and get out yourself?

  • @mrtadreamer I don't live there. It is really too bad that more American "Christians" weren't more Christ-like.

  • @nater2121 That's the rub bub. It's the Christ-like Christians that catch all of the flack.

    John 15:17-19

    New King James Version (NKJV)

17 These things I command you, that you love one another.

    The World’s Hatred

18 “If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. 19 If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you".

  • The religious right is a group of raving nutcases. These people have this mistaken idea that they know what's best for the USA. Guess what crazy douchebags you don't.

  • Religious Reich.

  • How religion was started: Some desert nomad got kicked in the head by a camel.

  • CHRIST LIKE IS THE ONLY ANSWER ; SHOW ME WHO KILLED HIM AND WHY ; { CAREFULLY } AND WHO HE HURT AND KILLED ; AYE ????

  • Amazing---the same folks screaming about government intrusion when it comes to health care, guns, pollution, and education --these are the same folks DEMANDING the government intrude on personal relationships, love and legal rights based on sexual orientation.

  • @pdx954 I'm not a lefty like Cenk, but I completely agree with this. I think it's a travesty that these people call themselves conservatives. Conservatives ought to be most concerned about individual freedom, liberty, and allowing people to unleash their potential (especially in the free market).

To then step in and regulate what goes on in the bedroom, forestall the teaching of evolution and sex-ed, and base a foreign policy on Evangelical eschatology is extremely scary.

  • @pdx954 i am a christian and i agree with you keep church and state completely apart (although i am from Canada so were more socialist) honestly though it only seems that american Christians are crazy you don't hear about any Christian Canadians killing abortionists it almost seems that American Christians are completely against there religion if i remember correctly it says to do unto other as i would do unto them i for sure wouldnt want people protesting my church or my views on things

  • @pdx954 (Government Intrusion?) "Because," I'm sure they would say, "We don't want our children distracted from their true purpose." Tho no one knows their true purpose, can you the elders know it better than the youngers? - The Religious Right cannot be stopped, because God cannot be destroyed (whether that's because he doesn't exist, or he's just huge)

  • religion takes rights away all the time

  • Until GOP actually reclaim their sanity, I am not even going to consider voting for them.

  • This video is 420 long... for that reason alone I clicked Like

  • The Liberals are pulling America down into a pit of darkness.

  • @warriorspikes51 Ya, that's it....

  • @warriorspikes51 Religion is pulling America into a pit of darkness.

  • Check out CHRISTIAN RIGHT WRONG AGAIN song on You Tube

  • Hey Cenk - how about an educational video on "How the Religious Right Can Be Stopped"? :D

  • @M0US3P0T4TO education

  • @M0US3P0T4TO that way to defeat the religious right is to have an educated population but getting funding into schools is almost impossible because of the religious right. Essentially they perpetuate their own stupidity.

  • @M0US3P0T4TO Two ways, go into the past and kill the first Jews or just kill all the religious right of today.

  • Very observant! Thanx for enlightening me this is interesting. Racism is as Cent put it 'politically inconvinient' and I believe for many hardcore Christian coservatives, this is the only reason they arent still clining to racist values and embrace ally's from the black community. But I think those self-serving and kin selective inclinations and attitudes that motivated the racism still exist 2day and will surface when circumstances allow. 4 now they can just discriminate against gays etc

  • "I would rather go to Hell (if there's any) than be in Heaven with a bunch of religious douches for eternity" ... seriously, i would want serve the human race than to serve an invisible, "petty, unjust, unforgiving control-freak; a vindictive, bloodthirsty ethnic cleanser; a misogynistic, homophobic, racist, infanticidal, genocidal, filicidal, pestilential, megalomaniacal, sadomasochistic, capriciously malevolent bully." I quote Richard Dawkins.... and guys, listen to George Carlin on Religion!

  • @imamfollower If your going to try and insult someone, at least be good at it.

  • The anti-choice and anti-gay "issues" were totally manufactured. Neither of these are issues. They are a total fabrication of the religious fucktards designed to rile up mindless sheep over nothing. And it's a nice big cash cow for the exploitative assholes who have no conscience.

  • When I was a kid, forced bussing of students was a hot issue. I have to agree that a suburban family would be pissed to have their kid bussed into the city to satisfy some asshole judge's idea of fairness.

  • Instead of cutting through the red tape you people have to make an assumption that you WANT to be right. I think money has caused a bigger problem for the world than religion. Money has ruined the values of religion when it comes to greedy corporals and theives who lie giving religion a bad outlook. People starve because they can't afford food ,small family businesses get overrun. Look at the way our economy is now. I'm always surprised how people don't bring money into society's problems.

  • And your argument is? Are you trying to suggest modern conservatives are all racists? Come clean...

A lot of historical events actually have rather embarrassing origins. Guess which party Lincoln was in?

Can I use that to suggest today's Dems are actually pro-slavery?

  • @Mrparrot73 I love the fallacies of the "Party of Lincoln" argument. The republican and parties are completely different today, which is why nobody tries to smear republicans by talking about how ineffective President Grant was.

  • Desegregation being the prime reason why the Religious Right began to get organized?...In 1978?

    Yeah right.

If that were true, the gender make-up of the Republican party, should be about 50/50.

Instead, the percentage of female members of the Republican Party is anywhere from one out of four, to one out of twelve (depending on who you ask).

The prime issue of concern to most Republicans ever since Roe V. Wade, has been trying to reverse it.

But what can one expect from a chauv like Cenk?

  • @withlove9195 Agreed from a straight but not narrow here.

  • This guy is such a liar

  • @gladyscornish Any evidence to refute that, other than "he's a liar"?

  • Interesting video...it's complete bullshit....but interesting. It's always racism with lefties. No matter what the question is....the answer is racism. Even though the left divides everyone (including the Democrat party) into racial groups....it's always the right wing that gets called racist. I don't understand how this country became so stupid so fast.

  • @xTRAPJAWx Do you know what racism even means?

  • @Tomasthesk8dude Indeed I do. I also know that people overuse the word. I also know that the Republican party freed the slaves, supported women's suffrage, held Congress during the Civil Rights Act's passage and were the party of Martin Luther King Jr. All of those things with the exception of LBJ were opposed by the Democrats. Yet, somehow the Dems are the party of civil rights and everyone on the right is a sister fucking klansmen. Now what do you know smart boy?

  • @xTRAPJAWx I never said anything about the Democrats. I was just wondering what your understanding of racism is, because it is NOT "classifying people into race groups"

  • @Tomasthesk8dude Ok, I see what you mean. I was just ranting on the left wing of our political system in general. As far as "dividing people into race groups." It isn't racist in and of itself. But, it does help keep racism alive. You have people like Jesse Jackson who make a living off of racial tensions in America and they contribute to keeping tensions high. Thus in a round about way they breed racism. The Dems aren't unified as one party. They have the black and hispanic caucuses

  • @xTRAPJAWx I understand what you're saying, makes sense. However I can't say I would support the Tea Party!

  • @Tomasthesk8dude Why not? You don't like lower taxes, less government, and more freedom? The TEA party has 3 objectives. 1. reduce the size and scope of gov. power 2. reduce taxes and 3. restore fiscal responsibility in this country (I.E balancing debts and budgets). That's it. There are no social issues at all and despite what you heard on MSNBC it is not a racist organization. My TEA party crew has 10 members 4 are black and 1 is hispanic. I suggest you read "Give us Liberty" for truth

  • @xTRAPJAWx You have to make a distinction between Northern Democrats like Hubert Humphrey and Southern Democrats like Richard Russell. As the Democratic party embraced civil rights, many southern Dems grew disillusioned. Some, like Strom Thurmond and Jesse Helms, defected outright to the GOP, or like Gov. James Byrnes, stayed with the party but backed Republicans like Goldwater and Nixon. Nixon also converted many southern voters to the GOP with the Southern Strategy.

  • @toddsmitts Funny, Robert Byrd never left. I am very aware of the history you speak of and it does not change the points I addressed.

  • @xTRAPJAWx No, Byrd, instead renounced his segregationist positions and apologized for them. Whether that's enough or not is subjective, but it's telling that people like Thurmond and Helms didn't even do that. And for the record, the GOP *was* great once, giving us Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, and championing anti-lynching laws in the early to mid 20th Century, but has moved distressingly rightward in the last 30-40 years.

  • @toddsmitts, again I am aware of the history and it still does not change the points I address.

  • @xTRAPJAWx I'm not sure what points you were talking about. Is every or even most position taken by Republicans racially motivated? Of course not. But several have taken positions harmful to many working class people, which including disproportionately large numbers of minorities, or just show themselves to be ignorant. The recent remarks of Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) and Gov. Haley Barbour (R-MS) are prime examples. I can get some more if you like.

  • @toddsmitts I think dependence on governent is more harmful to working class people. But, now you are changing the subject. My point was that everything revolves around race with liberals and the DNC personifies that. Republicans are unified around principles such as limited government, individual responisibility, fiscal conservatism and a strong millitary. Race plays no part in those policies. A black Republican is the same as a white one. The RNC doesn't divide along racial lines.

  • @Tomasthesk8dude it is this type of "segregation" that keeps people politically un-equal and helps keep racism alive. The GOP is unified as one party regardless of race. You don't have "black Republicans" and "hispanic Republicans." You just have Republicans. That was what I was referring to. And the left wants to paint all right wing thinkers as racist because they can't beat our ideas. That's why if you disagree with the POTUS they call you a racist. It's what they did to the TEA Party.

  • Well, a lot of religious right are still racist although they don't all show it. Laura Ingraham is one of the one's who are blatantly racist claiming that white people need to take back the "power to the people" slogan, which originated with the black panthers.

Furthermore, while many right wingers are smart enough not to be too obvious about their racism, the religious right still gets into political brawls over tax-exempt status of religious congregations, clubs, and programs -including CPCs

  • The religious right were here when the colonies were developing. Read any history book ya dumb-shit... This country is changing, we just have to gve it time. Morals ethics, and logic all change over time and always will. in two hundred years Americans will be talking crazy shit about us too etc etc.....

  • We should come up with some catchy counter-slogans to the "NOBAMA 2012" thing, like maybe "NOFUCKINGMORONS 2012" or something. It's still a little rough, but you get the idea ;)

  • He talks about how the evil white schools don't allow black kids, but there are schools that are strictly for black kids, or strictly for Hispanic kids, and college funds strictly for black kids, but if there are any schools for white kids, or college funds for white kids it's racist.

  • @BigChiefMike

    yes.

    nobody talks about this.

    don't know why.

  • STANDING IN A CHURCH MAKES YOU NO MORE OF A CHRISTIAN THAN STANDING IN A GARAGE MAKES YOU A CAR!

This is directed at all the hypocritical right, not the ones that truly believe and follow the word of god.

Example, my stepdad is a youth leader at his church, guiding his flock to stay off drugs, god is all you need, and then comes home and the first thing he does is pull out his bong and gets high as fuck!!!!!!!!

  • I have another question. \o_ How can Liberals both support abortion, cutting down the population. Yet support social security, which is dependent on there being enough people paying in to support the elderly from the previous generation? Once again these two things seem to oppose each other.

  • @wildernessshouter How can conservatives support pro life, and claim that they follow Jesus, who I might add pushed "turn the other cheek" to it's limits, and then be the first group out of the gate when it's time to vote for a war? Once again these things seem to oppose each other.

  • @sepulmattica1 Despite the misdeeds or misconceptions of those who breed like animals, I feel any human life should at least be given the opportunity to live. The gene pool is so unpredictable; the possible stimulus events so numerous, that we could be killing the very mind that would solve a great problem. Not all are naturally equal. War is a tragedy, but is also part of human nature that we will never stop. Individually we all wage war against things which would drag us down. (Cont.)

  • @sepulmattica1 (part2) Abortion itself could be regarded as a war. Things are killed for the supposed benefit of others. Who runs to vote for that? Concerning your stepdad.. I'm not really a organized religion kinda guy, but he should be told that the Bible, and most religious text speak against hypocrites. The war on drugs is just modern day prohibition, another "big government" stomping on freedom thing. He should take one side or the other and stick to it. I vote for freedom to smoke it.

  • Then eat Papayas or Dragonfruit, and you won't have to worry about the abortion, the pill, or anything. I read somewhere that girls in India and other undeveloped countries take that in order to kill pregnancies.

  • Note: It was the english translation of the Holy Koran, checked out at the local library. It was translated by two arabic doctors.

  • ALL RELIGON IS BASED ON A LIE

    wake the fuck up

  • why does everybody hate islam

and why does everybody think that only muslims are islamic

thats like i thinking only white people are christans

  • @glennboy28 I read the Koran cover to cover. Not an exact quote, but there where several entries in it that read something like. "You should kill the infidel where ever he is." Infidel meaning, anyone who denies Islam. "Or tax him for your protection". Meaning that if you don't kill him, make him pay for his right to live. "Any who don't kill the infidel, should contribute to them that do." Meaning even if your not killing, support the ones that do. I READ IT...

  • @wildernessshouter well i only read parts of the bible and one part says.hebrews 9:22 In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness

  • @glennboy28 Not that I care, because again I'm not very "organized" religion at all. But I don't see many Christians putting that to practice. It's been so long sense I read the Bible, that I can't even remember and don't really care to go look it up. We will just assume your right. Still when it comes down to who is reading shit and actually putting it to practice? I personally feel "Islam" wins the gold on that.

  • I'm a conservative and I have a question. \o_ So the left often holds up Darwinism over Creationism. Even if your a Atheist you gotta believe we came from somewhere right? I myself believe in Natural Selection. So if you believe in natural selection, why try to make a supposedly "level" playing field through government policy? Don't these two things stand in opposition to each other? Because natural selection can't work if your always leveling off the people that get ahead, can it?

  • The Religious Right is the Cancer of the Republican Party. If they get rid if them, the Republican Party will not only be more electable, they would make more sense than the Democratic Party

  • @TheTravisChannel I think that in that case, the Reps would shrink down to a group of 10 people with no voters.

  • Nonsense, Nonsense, lies and deceptions are your calling card. Pray God that you wake up to reality.

  • Wow look at all the abrasiveness being slung around here, tolerance is dissolving on all sides. I'm sure someone is going to give me grief for this, but this is part of the reason the economy is on the edge of collapse. Everyone is pulling like hell left and right, and it's going to tear us apart.

  • I hate when people come on here and the first thing they say is, there is no God and no Satan when that remark alone proves there is a Satan. Christians do have rights at least for now in this country. I am not on the left or right, I just can not stand any more of this idiot condemning Christians. Lets here him condemn the Muslims but he wont do that. I don't hate anyone not even this Bozo but I do watch his show when I can stomach it and you sure don't here him say bad things about Muslims.

  • @ImGodsservent The people you are referring to have already been addressed at 2Peter 3: 3,4.

  • @ImGodsservent Usually i don't jump in. But you are wrong. He HAS made fun and condemn muslim actions. But he is in American and the major religion IS Christianity. And Christians DO get mix in politics and this guy IS a political commentator. So .... duh. Do you not dispute the facts? Christians do push their religion on others, and try of force their beliefs into law. Christians are always flaunting their lifestyle.

  • @ImGodsservent saying there is no God DOES NOT PROVE THERE IS A SATAN. How do you claim tolerance when you want to hear him talk trash about Muslims? You don't even see your own contradiction. Like all Christians, you're full of dung

  • @ImGodsservent Hey Billy Jo Jim Bob, "servant" is spelled with an a and not e. Damn, that's how it goes when your mother and father is also brother and sister, I guess..Hehe:)

  • @ImGodsservent Muslims don't control politics like the Christian Right does..

  • @ImGodsservent NO! that does not prove there is a Satan lol. Close minded religious believers are always going to be a problem. Muslims or Christians, it doesn't matter. All are equally delusional! You think this guys hard to stomach. Try having a rational mind and putting up with religious nut jobs all the time....now thats hard to stomach.

  • @ImGodsservent that is a load of crap. You think that you shouldn't be criticized because you are all up on God.

  • Sigh... okay I've had enough. This goes for both the right and the left. Leave it to people to take a set up instructions 123 ABC like the Constitution and fuck it all up. The divisions in this country are being fueled by all these conspiracies being slung around. Some have substance but a lot are imaginations running wild. Ever hear of "United we stand , divided we fall." ? We are gonna have to find some way to work this out for all sides. It's just getting to dam crazy.

  • How in the hell did you get on TV, you must have Satan leading you. Great just what we need more anti-God idiots on TV. Watch out for thous Turks who believe in the devil religion Islam. Get over it we've heard more than enough from you retard.

  • @ImGodsservent Nise Christian you are. BTW, the devil does NOT EXIST.

  • @ImGodsservent Yeah, we'd rather listen to your uneducated fairy tales about a magical man who had a book written about him many years after his death by people who never even met him. We are sick of that story. Closed minded people are the ones who have faith.

  • I would rather go to hell than to be in heaven with a bunch of religious douches for eternity LOL but of course neither place exists.

  • @whatever5004 actually people are perfect when they get to heaven

  • @whatever5004 and why is that? Because in your delusional opinions you think that your authority defines reality? Get your head out of the sand and clean out your ears. Heaven is real, Hell is real, Jesus Christ is the only way to Heaven. You need not worry about religious Pharisees in Heaven. Heaven is not for people who trust in their self righteous religion (Catholicism) Heaven is for those who trust in the righteousness of Jesus Christ and him alone. Salvation is not found in any other.

  • @warriorspikes51 Haha ok bud. So I guess im delusional because I don't telepathically talk to a sky god who is also his own father and ritualistically pretend to eat his body and drink his blood in hopes that he does not send me to a fiery realm.

    Makes sense...

  • @warriorspikes51 every religion, cult or religious sect which is succesful says you must follow their way otherwise you will go to a fiery pit of doom to burn for all eternity. this is because they exploit peoples fears and desire (to live happily ever after in heaven). you dont seem to understand that the primary concepts of religion...

    1) a tormented afterlife if you dont believe in it

    2) a happy afterlife if you do

    3) a god (or gods)

... are illogical and utterly flawed in every way

  • If the GOP finally distanced themselves from the religious right, the Republican Party would be far more successful.

  • Right-wing in six words:

Racist present, racist past. Racist future.

  • can you turks just stop posting videos, they are all crap.

  • I couldn't disagree more with the religious right, but this clip is a bunch of bullshit.

  • Ted Kennedy in his autobiography recounts making a speech at Jerry Falwell's Liberty Baptist College in 1983 and made a great point that "in cases such as prohibition and abortion, the proper role of religion is to appeal to the conscience of the individual, not the coercive power of the state."

Too bad the Religious Right seems incapable of realizing that.

  • This is the absolute proof of the root origin of the connection between racism and rightwing religion. Of course, this connection existed earlier with the KKK, but the KKK lost it's power earlier in the 20th century. It took the GOP's southern strategy to make the KKK's message respectable again.

  • so wait a minute, anyone who opposes the mutilation of human fetuses,(including non-white human fetuses) are secretly racist. Yes that makes total sinse, Margaret Sanger was a real racist and founded the birth control movement as an attempt to limit the number of "unfit" births, does that mean that anyone advocating condom use is a racist too, give me a break!

  • @MrAbolitionist Uhhh... no, you're as entitled to your opinion on abortion as anyone. What Cenk pointed out in the vid, quite correctly, is that one of the things that first motivated the Religious Right was their opposition to desegregating their religious institutions.

One of the founders of the Religious Right, Jerry Falwell was railing against Brown V Board back in the 50's.

  • Do you right wingers not undertand that George Washington, John Adams, and Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Fraankin did not found this country, but the Native Americans did? Don't you get that?

  • I'm a liberal, but I have to disagree. Natives discovered the land, but the founding fathers did essentially what their title suggests, they founded the country. The country, not the land.

  • @mattjnor98 do you not understand that this wasnt a country until Washington, Adams, Jefferson, and Fraklin showed up? it was just rock sand and trees with people running around..not a country..get your shit straight.

  • @mattjnor98 really? your facts are way off. I am not a right winger far from it but you are so wrong that it plays into the rights hands when people say incorrect things like you did.

  • interesting....very interesting

  • Now my question would be at what limit would you stop homosexuals from have happiness marriage? the right to see their dying partner?

  • @MrAmerica406 "I believe gays should marriage"

Gays can't get married because of the definition of marriage. They should have civil unions granting them the same legal rights as married people.
