Yes, but not the 101st. They're air assault. There was a jump into Iraq, a jump into Afghanistan, actually I think 2 in Afghansitan because I think the Rangers had their own, one in Panama, Grenada, Vietnam etc. So yeah, they still jump.

Just to clear some things up. 101st do not jump from planes. They're no longer airborne but air-assault. That means they come from choppers. Airborne school is completely different from air-assault school. Sorry to everyone who is pretending to be airborne on here but all airborne and air-assault know the difference between the two and know the 101st don't "jump".

101st dont do jumps anymore they are strictly air assault some guys in the 101st aren't even airborne certify they keep the name for symbolic reasons i think but there aren't a lot of airborne jumps in to combat anymore it was really only used at the beginning of the war now its mostly air assault stuff which is why if you do airborne you should do air assault school also

Easy company has been retired from combat ops and is currently a training regiment for paratroopers now

@honalululy 101st isn't an airborne division anymore it's strictly air assault (keeps the name airborne though do to division history) The 82nd airborne division did make 1 jump at the start of the war in afghanistand aswell as 1 in Iraq.

@mendoza0725 Easy company 506 was 101st airborne yes. And I believe they still have the 506 company (along with many other companies) but they don't do paradrops anymore like in World War 2.
