It didn't take any longer to get out than any other event. And besides, who cares?!? I was 8 ft from John Reznik (sp?) all evening!!! I still get chills. wow. Standing in the hot sun for hours to be in the front row, just to see him and fighting the crowd to get out, it was all soooo worth it. Heck, I'd do it again right now. awesome. I love the GGD! This was a free concert of course, a few months later i paid $200 so see them at the Fox at the Bob Costas benefit. Another awsome night!

i got down there late after lifehouse was getting ready to finish their set. I managed to only get Broken the last song they sang and then get ready for the GGD. luckily I managed to find a good spot on the arch stairs.

i was at this concert and it had to be one of the best nights of my life.

it was so crowed, and hearing every single person there scream these lyrics was one of the most electrifying things ever.

it still gives me chills to think about.

it took me a long time to get downtown nad i missed slide, but I saw this song and black balloon so it was worth it. It was a great concert, they sound amazing live.

if you guys want my honest opinion, i think he is bored singing the song at every single show and additional shows for the past 9 years, he doesn't want to kill his voice with all the high notes..he still wants a career you know..xD

i still think its great, but if u wanna watch ones with high notes watch the 1998 woodstock performance or 2002 winter olympics one

I agree. Why would he try to reach the high notes and kill his voice if it sounds just as good without them. The crowd doesn't seem to mind at all.

i agree, i miss the high notes. but all of the songs still sound awesome low. better actually, i like low songs, but the occasional high notes make it more interesting. but he's def not off key, he's just lower down.

all i can say that they just don't sound like the same band. lowering down the key just does not sound good.

i don't think he can't sing it anymore. he doesn't have the voice anymore. on songs like black balloon long way down and slide was really off on voice and key

ACTUALLY, I was front row center at this show and also at his show in Moline IL and he CAN sing. Johnny's got a great voice and the whole band was amazing both times!! Thanks for the post! :-)
