Two handed is easier because you can have more fingers going at once on the directions. Having one finger on each direction is much easier than having to shift around all the time with 1 hand

really it's all dependent on how the player is.

for a while I played 1 hand because 2-hand was an absolute nightmare for me.

but when 1-hand started getting annoying, cramps and crap, I did 2-hand.

course now I can use both methods, and I switch between them for specific songs XD
