Sounds like For Today sort of. Next time tune to drop d. I find it easiest to fret the 7th fret at the D and low e string then detune the low e string til it matches the 7th fret note on the D string. For palm mutes you can do 3 note palm mute parts and add 2 note gallops, like, 000 000 00 00 000 000 00 00 and so on. Then you could play your main power chords alot easier too maybe add some single note riffs too. Likin your Goth Les Paul by the way, big upgrade.

try tuning your guitar from big string to little string DADGBE, then you can play those low power chords with one finger. its a great way to play metal and hardcore

Your pretty good for your age. But like someone said before, learn some new tricks like palm muting, and most def work on your strumming a little bit--constant down strumming can get tireing and it can slow you down.

Wow, I admit I wish I had started playing guitar at your age, sadly I didn't start until I was about 14. If you work on alternate-picking (move your pick up and down strokes rather than just down like you're doing here) it will help you majorly with speed and a more smooth sound.
