  • Interesting interesting... Looking at the positive Imagine all the different possibilities.. Like Discus with SW angels and butterflyfish...

A negative aspect, that is, How is this 'Healthy' For ALL fish which be inside a tank with 'Magic Water'... I mean, A LOT of fishes are water sensitive, like I said, Discus, angels, Butterflies, tetras, etc. Also feeding would be a bit complicated.

And if they're gonna make a display tank, They could at LEAST make an effort to make it LOOK healthy

  • @oscarthewhale And this DOES NOT look healthy. Too many clowns... The guppies are cramming in the corner.. A Lone Platy and Gourami.. And I dont like the Goldfish' fins. (Unless its natural)

  • you can make them in the same tank for your own fun... but they feel like hell fucked you know???keeping brackish is same as killing the fish step by step

  • @sikambink how would keeping brackish fish in a brackish aquarium be killing them "step by step"? I don't understand what your trying to say!?

  • wow eso es impresionante en mi vida habia visto algo igual no crei que eso fuera posible :O

  • the people who did this are heartless bastards

  • guys this is simple to explain,,,,,,,this is called the silver lining point, this is the point where a saltwater fish(clownfish) is able to live with low salinity as possible without being sick; on the other hand, the freshwater fish (goldfish) are also able to live at their maximum salinity without showing sickness, it is not okay to do this to fish, but if a fish was born, raised, and reproduced in one of those extremes of salinity, the next generation would have a better salinity tolerance...

  • so in a few generations you could get fresh water crown fish and salt water goldfish

am gonna do this and try to get fresh water octopus

  • @carloshugo3000 yes, pretty much, but it isnt gonna be easy, no way in hell is it gonna be easy (sorry fer the language), fer each generation a certain bar of salinity will be needed to be raised or lowered precisely, or else that octopus/fish will die lol, not reccomended, but if you do make it possible, you will make history hahaha

  • ...But... WHY?!!!!

    ...

  • osmosis

  • HOW! HOW! HOW! Salt and Fresh water fish!!!!!! I'm sure one or the other would die instantly!

  • kok bisa tuh ikan air tawar berenang bareng ma ikan air laut ??

  • WTF ! This is not an aquarium . This is a big bullshit .

  • The whole point if having ANY kind of aquarium, fresh or salt, is to re-create a beautiful, natural environment for the inhabitants of the tank. People playing with fish's tolerances to salinity is just inhumane. I think this tank looks terrible, and eventually all those clown fish will kill each other anyways. There is no such thing as "magical" water. Yes they can be acclimated to another type of water, but no, it is not HEALTHY for them. Shame on you people.

  • @FretFreak13 None of the fish seem stressed out near the surface.

  • umm awesome

  • Homer Simpson did this too LOL

  • Bunun nasıl yapıldığı hakkında bilgisi olan varmı?

Tatlı su tuzlu su balıkları bir arada kafam karıştı...

  • I do this at home, Its a 50/50 mix and you slowly temper the fish to that amount of salinity.

  • fuck me how many clown fish

  • is it fresh or salt water??? because some of these fish are from central america and they can tolerate some salinity

  • Comment removed

  • Every freshwater plant and fish can handle some type of saltinaty.

  • you can't survive if you're not alive, moron.

  • i said the exact same thing! lol

  • ah, I've seen that work O.O My bro's got an epic 75 gallon on him that uses both tropical and saltwater fishes O.O it's been like 3 years now and none of them died yet XD I love tanks like those :D

  • What the hell...thats BS

    R.I.P fish

    poor fish...

  • LOL

  • ty, ty, im here all week

  • actually they thrive!

  • yeah, but for how long? i bet it affects their metabolism, digestion, gills, stomachs...etc...

  • i dont care if you can put goldfish in salt but dont supposed to mix those with TRopical because they are not tropical. besides just get salf fish instead their better looking

  • you just acclimate the freshwater fish VERY slowly. as little as 2 weeks of gradually adding saltwater. ive seen goldfish, mollies and guppies in salinity levels as high as 1.028

  • Guppies and mollies have a natural tolerance to low/medium salt levels in water, but some freshwater fish will DIE in few hours when exposed to salt (NaCl)!

As an example, Corydoras and plecos...

And it doesn't means that guppies and mollies will LIVE in this conditions, they will SURVIVE.

    Read about osmotic balance.

But anyway, this is not the case in this video... I will never try this "magic" system... bizarre.

  • they had this stuff back in the 50's but never really took off. saltwater fish was still pretty new back then.

if this can keep all species for happy and healthy for most of their life i bet this would be bigger than anything in the industry

  • I bet the fish wouldn't live longer than a month

  • How does that work?

  • it enables marine water fish and fresh water fish to live in the same tank by adding electrolyte to fresh water. Electrolyte: A substrace that dissolves in water and produces anion and cation. The Solvent has conductivity. Depending on the ionization state, strong electrolytes such as salt and inorganic acid or weak electrolytes of organic acids are produced.

  • wow but how has it got tropical saltwater and coldwater all in 1 and none of the fish are brackish fish thats awesome

  • thats hool so many clown fish

  • Im guessing the water is brakish

  • Yeah Serious WTF!

  • Someone please explain to me how this works.

  • wtfffffffffffffffff??????

  • :O :O :O :O :O :O and :O

  • haha i saw it in the rl they use a type of powder i not sure about that powder but its so godly

  • how do they do it?

  • maybe he thought he saw gouramis mixed with clownfish.

  • Uh, there are freshwater fish in that saltwater tank... Or, there's saltwater fish in that freshwater tank...

    WUT

  • i think fresh water fish can live in salt water that's lower in salinity or what ever than a reef tank.

my friend shelby had a 12" Citrinellus in water equivelent to a reef tank for like 3 months, and then converted it back to a fresh water tank and it ended up living to be 16" and 9 years old.

  • how?

  • Advancement and limits you know for advancements in the hobby that one day could revolutionize things experimenting is the only way to learn new things
