The lyrics just make this comical, almost cheesy, "all of a sudden a page comes through; rita's making dinner she wants you to come too!". Ambiguous lyrics dealing with the themes raised in Dexter would have been so much better, rather than overt references to the content of the show. Even then, this Linkin Park style of emotional rapping would still spoil it. Blood Theme is perfect as it is :)
