I loved the movie, the feel atmosphere and all that, you just dont get it in most movies now a days. And I'm so glad I stuck around after the credits. Something told me I should. My friends kept saying lets go, but i stuck out till the end and I was happy with the final post credit scene.

Watched the film and it was pretty good. I think I would have had a higher opinion of it had I not watched 'The Assassination Of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford' the night earlier, though. That is such an underrated film and I recommend it to anyone who loves the art of film.

Wings...I enjoy your reviews of movies. You should do more of these. I recommend a Auzzie movie called "The Reef". Its about a Great White shark stalking some victims of a capsized boat. It has avoided all CGI and made it with footage. All I can say is its thrilling, terrifying and very well made. It is not a remake of Jaws or anyone of those Hollywood flicks.

My only complaint was how when the guy with glasses got carried away by the wolves AFTER they were getting trailed at the edge of the cliff. How did they get down there that fast? Did the climb into his back pack?

@RiceHarvester If you paid attention in beginning, after the crash Neeson said that wolves have a territory of 300 mile radius and have a hunting territory of about 35 miles I believe. You might think that they must have traveled a long distance, but in reality in that kind of weather, it could take hours to travel just 1 mile, considering being stalked by a pack of wolves. They must have traveled 20 miles maybe, at the most.

Average movie

Liam neeson is amazing in this movie but the story is terrible, the message of the story is really: there is no hope just roll over and give up. Movie starts out great as a survivor horror film, then ends up being a race to see who will get eaten last by the wolves. I was expecting some tactics and strategy to fight the wolves and actually well uhh... survive!!!

There were far too many wolves to fight them, it was an entire colony of them vs. 6men. They also had no supplies. Instead the movie was more about hope, and what lies around the corner.

I have to disagree with what you said about the wolves. They do not appear to be 250lbs its just the fact that they have a lot of fur because they live in an area that is -10degrees. even when they do look kinda "big" when the movie offers another angle in daylight its clear that they are of "average size".
